Horrible experience. They had baseball tournaments. The kids walked through the camping spaces in and out of campers, stealing stuff, putting it at other campsites, drew obscene pictures on picnic tables. Had to call police or talk to police many times about what was going on, they then came and sat in the area and it slowed down a little bit. Kids hit the back of camper twice with baseballs, the car has a big dent from a third ball, and was keyed. Loud music from 7:45 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. on an almost nightly basis during our stay. Saturday morning at 6:15 a.m. a very loud leaf blower or what sounded like one woke us up. We were told they were getting the ball fields ready. Spoke to the city said they would talk to the teams, it seemed to get worse after they spoke to them. There is also favoritism and inconsistencies in their policies. Some people if they are liked or known are allowed to stay for more than the 14 days while others are kicked out, even if they need a few more days for special circumstances. Since it is a first come campground I ibserved multiple times park workers putting their vehicles in spots to save them for certain returning weekend campers. The camp manager was the best thing about the place, he welcomed us, helped us address some issues we had with setting up. The parks lady did listen to our concerns as well and was apologetic to our grievances. Overall though if you are there to relax and enjoy, don't think you will get much relaxation while any events are going on...

Went to learn at the skatepark. There's a lot of flatground but it's pretty rough. There's only really two obstacles and they're kind of intense for beginners.

*2020 Update: I've been outside and skating more in quarantine, but I have not returned to this park. Glenn Park on the other side of town has no emphasis in skating, but the parking lots and sidewalks are smooth and rideable. Everyone I've met skateboarding in this town has vastly preferred Glenn Park for learning anything with wheels. Oddly enough, there are quite a few skaters in this town that would appreciate an overhaul of Hoffman. If anyone has any tips for lobbying the city for an update give me a response please and thank you! :D

The playground looks like a lot of fun for little kids, but both that and the skatepark are really close to the campground. I feel like I can't go here without some camper's dog barking at me. The campground itself looks spacious and accessible, but it also looks like it's in between a neighborhood and a field. Personally I'd look for somewhere in a forest if I went camping. The baseball fields are cool, and they're a safe and decent distance from the rest of the park. The best thing going for this park is the options available here. Super solid playground, good baseball fields, lot's of open space, and okay camping spot for the city, and a very...

One star out of five! Let me start with saying that I drive a delivery truck- pickup and trailer combination.. I stopped expecting to get a TENT site for night, and proceeded to where it looked like the tent area was. No signs posted that it is a dead end. After talking to the campground host about where to park, I backed out looking for a parking spot which were none available. Events had parking areas filled. Finally got a parking space by the tent camping area since some people were leaving. Next problem was getting my camp site! No way to pay cash. Only online payment. You first have to set up an account with the city, then go through the online reservation and payment process which wasted even more time. By the time I had my campsite paid for,it was getting close to dark. Why do they want know if you are Male, Female or the non exciting category of NON-BINARY. Needed to get my tent set up - no time for my normal bike ride. The other complaint is that there is only one shower for the whole campground. Plan your shower when others are not using it. I am sure that it is cleaned daily, but getting up and using it at 5:30, so that I get back on the road - shower was dirty. If you only plan on staying one night, find a different campground! Extremely...

I will gladly come back if I am in their area. The park is fantastic, and I didn't even get to explore it all. Please keep things in perspective when booking here. This is a park first and campground second. As an example, there is not water at the campsite, but there is a fill site at the park. I can't take a star away for that as some campgrounds are the same way. There are not a ton of trees, but there ones that are in the campground are fairly mature and provide some shade. There are 30 amp and 50 amp sites. The dump station is o. The way out of the park. I don't like that the sump is on an uphill grade. You may not get your tanks as empty when dumping because of it. Sites were gravel. The "yard" was not huge for each of the sites, but it sufficed. All this comes at what may be the lowest overnight rate ai have ever paid!

LOVE this park! I really enjoy hiking up the hill and is a great hike for the pups too! There is a great overlook up there of the town of River Falls. There are several trails along the hill. Great exercise. The park itself has an amazing baseball field for leagues. There is another field on the opposite end of the park that’s available for everyone to use. There is also a frisbee golf course. The playground for the kids is nice and well maintained. The whole park is well maintained truly! Mini skate park for those who like to skate. Mainly a ramp and a grind bar. There is literally something to do for everyone here! Campsites for RVs and tents available. Great place to check out!

Nice camp ground with power and dump and potable water. The camp host was helpful greeting us and providing codes for shower. The people make the park. It was peaceful until it wasn’t. Campers coming in after 10 pm yelling and trying to back up in the dark. Setting up and hollering at each other. Not the parks fault. Just people caught up in their own drama waking everyone else up.
