Starbucks — Restaurant in River Falls

I spent this summer traveling the country and this is the wackest location I’ve been too. The music is trash and maybe they are trying to appeal to locals but they have successfully made Starbucks, a place that is normally cool, feel like the same crap places around town. Please keep Starbucks Starbucks. Do not bend Starbucks to the local culture in River Falls. They didn’t even bother to ask for my name for my drink so it’s just been sitting there on the counter with the mobile orders. First it’s playing country music. The next thing you know they’ll be rude to gays and people of color in here. maybe that’s why they couldn’t bother to ask my name-because I’m not local and I am not white? Cause they been asking the others…the staff seems particularly taken with one another as they got a lot of whispering and giggling they do with each other. Also no garbage...

They have a habit of forcing people to go to work when they are sick which I don’t agree with. I don’t care for the coffee or many of the other drinks. The management has improved since my previous review, but I still do not appreciate the influence that corporate has over store managers, and their inability to stand up for their employees. Thus I will not change my stars and would recommend that you go to a local coffee shop where the prices are lower anyway. Workers here do make a decent wage so tipping is not required, but is always appreciated. Be aware that tips are split amongst all staff however, so they cannot be used to compliment a specific...

I came inside to get a drink fixed that was actually wrong from another location. I was willing to pay for a new coffee but the employee that helped me didn’t think twice and immediately started making me a new drink, no questions asked. She was very friendly and I appreciated the quick response - even though my drink was from another location. The employees have always been so nice to me and today was another example of that. And my drink was made correctly this time,...
