Mimi's Pantry — Attraction in Riverside

Times are tough all over. For anyone residing in the Northmoor/Riverside area of the Kansas City metro needing a hand up with food assistance, these are the people you'll be glad you got in contact with. Even during these hard economic times, America's giving spirit remains strong, nevertheless food pantries nationwide are under strain right now, so there are always limitations on what they can provide, but I'll tell you, once you've completed their onboarding requirements to become a client, you'll be amazed (and thankful) for all they're able to provide. The staff that actually helps guide you through the Mimi's store are primarily volunteers, and these are some dedicated, hard workers. As a client you're permitted up to two shopping trips at the pantry per month, and you'll discover some very pleasant surprises in what they're able to offer from time to time. Mimi's provides "the basics," which, so far in my own experience has always included some fresh fruit and vegatable items, which vary depending on seasonal availability and according to what's been donated for them to distribute, fresh bread, and at least one dessert item per household. I'll mention that Mimi's is very clean and pleasant, inside and out, and that the staff cares about their own safety and yours, so they stay up on all the covid guidelines and abide by them. One last thing: the pantry itself is located in Northmoor. No matter which direction you're traveling from, this is a PARTICULARLY good part of the KC area to pay attention to your driving and obey the seat belt law and speed limits. This is a great place for helping others a lot of people go here and these people go out of their way to make sure that people can eat I think that's truly amazing the people there are amazing they work so hard and bring in so much food you're so nice that they can do things like this it's always extra nice around Thanksgiving so you can show everything that you're thankful for that's what it's about it's showing...

I know a lot of ladies that are the Greatest people I have met in a long time. They are so nice and friendly and helpful to me. They try to accommodate everyone that comes in, and guess what...
