Good trail with plenty of rest spots and a beautiful view of the entire surrounding landscape. Giant cross on the top of the hill with an outstanding view and a little backstory stating that it was placed there on a Easter Sunday. Also a nice bell tower a short walk from the cross, alongside the tower there is an American flag blowing proudly and beautifully in the wind. Read moreI've loved this trail since I lived downtown (3rd Street) and I would run from my house to the top and back. When my boys were little, I would use the running stroller with them. To the top is just under 2 miles if you take the easy grade. The steeper grade is about 1.5. both will get you to the top and back down.
