Stopped in and for just 5 dollars got to see some amazing artifacts from the old west, a great collection of local and historic mining artifacts, arapaho native dress and artifacts, and as a graphic designer, I particularly enjoyed the large collection of old packaging, pills, tonics, and old branding. Also has an exhibition on the history of uranium mining in the area which was enlightening. A real gem with very sweet attendants.

Pretty cool museum, I used to love just stopping and seeing the new displays. We always went as kids and as I became a mother I would take my kids, nieces, nephews or kids I watched. We would donate money every time we could. However they started charging $5 for kids and adults, while most places charge more and this may seem reasonable they took out most of the museum displays. You cant even see half of the artifacts you could prior down stairs. The museum is small and if you have more than one kid this is not the place to kill time or explore. You are better off going on a nature walk and chatting to a local. There should be a deal for a larger crowd or family deals. As mentioned before it is SMALL and does not have much to show. Probably won’t be...
