La Luna — Restaurant in Riverton

My Wife and I had dinner here the first night we arrived to Wyoming. The atmosphere and the service was great, no complaints there. It was pretty loud but bearable to talk amongst each other. The food was decent, I felt that the food was more reheated food rather freshly made, as well with the drinks, we ordered an Horchata and a Jamaica and we can tell these were the powder mixtures not really authentically made. The Jamaica was needing more hibiscus in my opinion. I got the 3 tacos de Carnitas with Rice and Beans and it was good but again the rice and beans weren’t really hitting it for me. My wife grabbed the 3 Fish Tacos and she did enjoy it, was missing the crema that you would normally get with eating Fish Tacos but everywhere is different on that. Okay so. This is a review left after an EXTREMELY long day. I came out here after chaperoning track day at my son's school, selling a vehicle, driving a junk vehicle in, and trading it for my new car. Just to set a little backstory. I was exhausted. We were hungry. And we can across this place.

First off, EVERYBODY has an amazing attitude. Leah was so sweet and so kind and made everything super comfortable and fun. The food was super bomb, it came out quick, and we were checked up on promptly.

Dessert was equally as fast and equally as DELICIOUS!

Food was bland but okay. Kinda expensive for what you get. Service was just okay. We asked for a booth and was told, "well, I'll have to put you in the back room" OKAY???? It was kinda strange, because their was a booth available in the front, and when we were seated, there were only Caucasians in the room. ????? However, when my husband went to pay the bill, he used his hand for privacy when keying in our pen number for the card we used. The Hostess let out a giggle and said "Why do White People do that?" That was a racist remark and was out of line. We will not be back because of her uncalled since of humor....
