Riverton City Park — Attraction in Riverton

Overall nice park. We were sad to see the splash pad was not working Saturday, but it turned on the next day 🤷🏼‍♀️. It was odd to have the park’s sprinklers on in the middle of the day on Saturday and the kids complained it was interfering with the skate board ramps and for the adults blocked benches and shaded grassy spots to sit. Skate board ramp was the hi-light for my kids who had brought their scooters. Spent a few hours here. The playground equipment was in good condition, with the surface is made of shredded up rubber tires. The park has signs that state that it is unlawful to have liquor in the park. I have found empty liquor bottles in the park on multiple occasions. This park gets a lot of traffic, and seems to be a stop for foot travelers. The skatepark is super nice for a town this size, and appears to have been designed by an experienced skater.
