Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds — Attraction in Robstown

I have always enjoyed going to the events at this Fairground. However when it comes to the gun show, referring to the Saxet gun show, in the future I would recommend sending out mystery shoppers to test the integrity of some of the dealers who try and peddle their wares here. 99% of the gun dealers who attend the show here are quite honest and knowledgeable of their product. The dealers who are less than honest whom and are just trying to make a buck off of the public, they need to be weeded out and reported to the owner of the gun show so they may not be allowed to reserve a booth at these shows again. My wife and I just came back From seeing Grupo Duelo. I will never come back to this place again. I paid $400 dollars for a VIP table just to be sweating all night. It is not handicapped friendly. My wife had trouble walking from the VIP area to the restroom because of her disability. They don't have a designated smoking area. He'll you can't even take cigarettes in. And they don't let you go back out of the venue to smoke. All they care about is the alcohol sales. All the music bands did a good job. But the venue was trash. You live and you learn!!! I guess...

Venue is a okay for a small event. Went to a Highschool regional powerlifting meet and there was not enough seating. People were literally yelling at each other over seats. Yet they continued selling seats, but complained about people standing or blocking the ramps. They had 1 concession stand open for the entire arena. The event was from 8am-6pm so people need snacks and drinks. The lines were ridiculous. Not really sure if it was the host, the venue, or both, at fault for this severe underestimate...
