Nueces County Public Libraries — Attraction in Robstown

Today was my first time going to this library. It's a great building and a good place to get away if you're stressed out or need a distraction, but my biggest concern was children running around, climbing over the counters, and trying to grab stuff from behind the desk. That's exactly what I witnessed today when I was waiting in line. The mother wasn't even phased by her son's behavior throwing his shoes around and climbing over said counters and grabbing things that didn't belong to him. I wish the employees were a bit more strict and adamant on parents to control their children. All in all, a great library, the employees are very helpful and very polite. I am a library lover. And this is my all time #1 favorite library of all time. My grandkids call it the fun library. Because they have learned not all libraries are the same. My son is studying for college, sometimes he sits in the parking lot on the wifi. Other times he gets a study room. The staff is always helpful and so kind. Thank you Keach...

Love this library but it always has screaming kids! Every time I go between 1-6, I have to listen to kids crying in the quiet areas. I come here to get away from the noise, to get inspired, to read, and to learn, but if there’s so much wailing going around, how can I even do any of this ?
