What a headache from the very beginning of my husband purchasing a vehicle from here. I walked in to pick up a second dealer tag because the one issued had expired. Mind you dealer tags should not have been issued for a “buyer”. While waiting the sales man has me trying to contact the loan company for a vehicle that I didn’t purchase because they hadn’t responded to his email. Sir that’s not my responsibility and every dealership I have purchased from has always been on top of anything that was needed. My husband called A WEEK before his buyer tag was going to expire. A female on the phone stated he has 90 days which is incorrect. How do people who are employed at a dealership not aware of how long buyer tags are good for. You all are handing out government documents. They’re good for 60 days for those who work there and are not aware. Then they state the lady who registers vehicles has been out or is in training. Again that’s not our problem. A buyer’s tag was finally issued but guess what, no buyers receipt. Once again you cannot issue a buyer tag without a receipt because it is a requirement to keep a copy of it in your vehicle at all times until you receive your hard plates. The buyer tag expired September 30th we never received a call back from the week before. Today is October 3rd, my husband called again and was told he would receive a call back and to our surprise he has not received a call back. He called again and the lady who answered the phone stated she does not have his license plates in for his vehicle. So my husband is unable to use his vehicle because beck & masten cannot properly register this vehicle. Don’t waste your time, go to a more reputable dealership.
Here is an update: still no license plates and our buyers tag expired on September 30th. We are now October 27th. We were told we could ask for an extension on the buyers tag and we would be reimbursed for the cost of purchasing the extension. We’re not running around asking for extensions on the mistake you all made. What you all should do is reimburse our payment for the month of October since we haven’t been able to use the vehicle since the tags have been expired for a month. Read moreI live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. I was traveling to Corpus Christi, Texas for my grandson's birthday party in my new 2020 GMC Denali which had less than 20,000 miles. Around San Antonio, Texas my truck started making a noise whenever I accelerated and the noise kept getting louder and louder. Once I arrived in Corpus Christi, I tried to find a dealership that could possibly figure out what was wrong. After all, I still needed to drive appropriately 700 miles to get back home! To complicate the matter, I arrived late Friday night. Saturday was really my only day to get my truck fixed since I had planned on driving back to Oklahoma Monday morning. I went to and called many shops in the area and explained my situation. Every place I checked said they couldn't even fit me in to possibly see what was wrong for at least a few weeks or longer. A couple of places said they might could diagnose the problem later that week but it would be a few more weeks before it could get fixed. One place finally said to try Beck Masten in Robstwon, Texas. I pulled in and talked to Robert Vasquez who I highly recommend! Although the mechanic who would normally diagnose the problem was out because it was a Saturday, he told me, let me see if one of my other mechanics can find the problem and possibly fix it. I was beyond grateful that he was at least willing to see what the problem was and if it could be fixed. Fortunately, the problem was with the engine pulley which they were able to fix. While waiting for my truck to be fixed, I was going to miss my grandson's birthday party. I asked if was possible if I could get a ride to the party which was a few miles away. Naturally, the person who normally did that was off too. However, Robert knew I was from out of town and found someone to give me a ride to my grandson's birthday party! I got a text message when my truck was ready. I went to pick it up thinking I was going to have to pay even though it was under warranty because I live in another state. I was happily surprised that Robert was also able to find my warranty information and not charge me. Read moreAmazing in sales. Pedro and I did all the negotiations before my husband got there. He was there about 15 minutes. Fast forward 4 days after we bought the car... OIL IS ALL OVER MY GARAGE. We purchase a 2019 Yukon Denali, surely those vehicles and their price would match up to the service we should have received. I call Pedro that evening, Saturday morning he has a vehicle for me and a tow truck on the way. Went very smoothly. I called for an update Monday morning. My vehicle was repaired, it was defective off the lot. A hose had rubbed up against the pulley and cut the hose. Easy fix, but once again.. DEFECTIVE OFF THE LOT. Manny, the service manager was VERY helpful. 5 stars for him! He assured me everything would be just fine. He made me feel as ease. I asked about throwing some mats in. I mean it’s an inconvenience for my 4 day old car to be in the shop already. We didn’t spend 75k to have a defective car. Ben a financial guy came out and told me they would pay for half the mats! I could use my reward points to pay for the other half! ABSOLUTELY NOT! This vehicle was defective off the lot. NOT MY FAULT BEN! I then went and told him, if I was driving going 70 mph and my children were in the car with me... my engine could have locked up! It could have snowballed into some huge. He proceeded to tell me “but that didn’t happen” BUT WHAT IF IT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED SIR? I am utterly disappointed that it came down to $300 mats that could have thrown in for the inconvenience of my brand new car sitting in the shop already at 4 days old.
