So the only reason I'm writing this review is because I saw a commercial of whataburger and reminded me of my regrettable experience. January 6 @ 11:33 PM I placed an "online order" that was supposed to be available for pick up at 11:37-11:39 PM. I arrived at the restaurant at 11:45 PM and there was no one at the register to greet me or see if I needed to order anything. I was asked at 11:55 PM "Were you waiting on something?" I explained how I had ordered online and I was there to pick it up. I recieved my order at 12:05 AM & had to make my own drinks. The only reason I state I made my drinks is because when you order online they ask what drinks you would like; assuming your drinks would be made ready for you to pick up as well. When I received my meal, I checked my bag to make sure everything I had order was there. I didn't examine my meal, didn't think I would have to assuming it would be made "fresh". When I got home I handed everyone their orders just to hear disappointment from everyone. All of the fries were stale and cold, the hashbrowns were undercooked. The breakfast burger had a burnt patty and the hashbrowns were undercooked and were smushed like mashed potatoes and the egg were runny like it was not cooked properly. The double meat whataburger jr had burnt patties, black around the edges and so dry, the tomatoes were runny and the buns were so soggy. It was soaked! It was disgusting! The B.O.B had burnt sausage and the eggs were overcooked, the egg yolk would crumble from how hard it was. The chicken bites were so dry and overcooked, it tasted like they just refried them to keep them "warm"; they were so hard to bite. When I called the store to speak to the manager on duty; I explained what had happened and asked if I could get a refund for the food and just pay for the drinks. I asked if I could take the food back so they could see what I was talking about and that I wasn't trying to get free food. He said because I ordered online the only thing he could do is remake the order. I don't want food from there! I just wanted my money back. I will never order online from them again, that's for sure. No one ate their meals, it was wasted money because all the food went to the trash. I'm tired of being disappointed from that restaurant. And it's only at that location. I haven't been to that whataburger in over a month and decided to go there upon my guests request. But EVERY experience at that location is disappointing and I always regret giving them a chance to redeem...
Read moreI’m hoping this is the first and last time I will have to write a review for a restaurant. When I arrived there was not a lot of people in the parking lot so I thought great I should be in and out. I was wrong, I was there for 30 minutes. I pulled up to the window and was left waiting almost two minutes before I got a response from someone, just for them to say “I’ll be right with you.” I’ve worked in fast food for four years, two years being at Whataburger and as soon as someone pulls up to order you tell them “Hi welcome to welcome Whataburger I’m so sorry give me one moment and I’ll be with you”. That’s all you have to say and I would’ve had a problem. Instead I had two different people say “I’ll be right with you two minutes apart. Then a women finally takes my order and I drive up as soon as I am done after waiting five minutes to place an order. I get to the window and am asked to pull up. I check my receipt and they didn’t ring me up for my hash brown so when she brings the food out I told her “you didn’t ring me up for hash brown can I order them now” instead of saying yes let me go ring you up she makes it my fault because I drove up to fast even though I placed my order one item at a time. She goes inside to get the hash brown. At that time I check my bag because this Whataburger is known for missing items and sure enough I’m missing one of my bobs. I tell her as such she takes my receipt and goes back inside. Before she even makes it to my window she’s already telling me to have a nice day before handing me my food. I also didn’t get pics the which I did ask for when I ordered. I would understand if it was busy but it wasn’t. There were three cars in line and not many people inside. She said it was because they had a complaint on the phone but I’m sorry someone answering the phone doesn’t halt service I’ve had to answer many when I was working for a different location. Read moreWorst Whatabuger I have ever been to. The lady taking our order obviously didn't know how to place the order. Got two of my orders wrong. When the order came out the girl with the trays didn't even have the tray with napkins and ketchup filled properly. We find out our orders are wrong and I take them back. They couldn't even make a new burger they just removed top bun that had mustard and put another bun with bacon on the same patty. The lady says oh that's her fault about the order was wrong. Then manager comes and says did you have a problem with your order. She already knew there was a problem with the order otherwise she wouldn't be standing in front of me. Then asks me if I want them to make another burger or if I want my money. She should have come with my money in hand and given us a new burger regardless but instead asks what I want her to do.... please you should already know how to correct the problem afterall you are...
