This review is for the Brooks Brothers store. I am giving this store 1 star only because there is no choice for a zero star. The store supervisor Jo Anny Narvaez provides the worst customer service that I have ever received. I have never been treated the way she did even from the upscale stores that me and my wife have been to. She treated me like I am an inferior person with her arrogance, overbearing attitude and total lack of customer service. Traits that anybody should not experience from store associates especially from a supervisor. I went back to the store yesterday for a price adjustment to an item that I purchased last Sunday. I was confused with the price and thought that it was an 80% sale so I told her the situation. She went through the receipt and said that she’s right, that it’s a 50% off sale. I said that the items were bunched up together with the sale percentage in the receipt so I got confused and told her that the receipt was confusing. She argued with me and she said, “No it’s not.” She then aggressively started going down the 13 items that I purchased explaining each as if I were an uneducated minority person. I stopped her after few items and told her that I got the point. I told her that I’m a frequent shopper and this receipt really confused me or else I would not be here braving a very strong rain in Robstown. She said some other things and started bragging about her resume on how she’s been working in retail for years such as Montgomery etc. She then said that we have to agree to disagree. For a retail employee with years of experience, SHE IS LACKING BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE 101 SKILLS. Instead of maybe saying, “I’m sorry about the confusion with the receipt sir but let me explain it to you so you won’t get confused on your next visit to our store.” Instead she went above and beyond to argue her point in the most aggressive and unprofessional way. With experiencing her bad attitude and very inferior customer service that made me feel belittled, I told her that I don’t want to get the item anymore. And before I left, I asked if she had a business card and she said, “Yes.” I told her that I do business reviews and that I will make a review of the store. Her bad attitude forces me to bring my business somewhere else where I get treated humanely and with dignity. She needs to be either disciplined or undergo refresher trainings in customer service. I’ve never been treated, belittled and humiliated the way she did. As a supervisor, she should be the enforcer of gold standard customer care because after all, who comes to Brooks Brothers to buy their professional clothings? Regardless of social status, the customers keep the employees employed and the company running. To the management, I wish I have the conversation recorded. You may contact me anytime to get my statement. Thank you for addressing this issue against your supervisor. On the other hand, Paul provided the most wonderful customer service ever. He took care of me and my wife when we visited the store on August 4th, the day before my wife and I did another purchase. He was very personable and made me and my wife feel at home. He kept checking if we need anything and even explained all the sales going on for the day. Read moreI was enjoying my experience with my family and my small shih tzu, until while I was already leaving having been there for an hour a security guard stopped me to let me know no animals were allowed. My dog never went to the bathroom (I had wipes and bags just in case), barked, or did anything to disturb anyone, and before entering any stores I would ask if she could come in and many said she could as long as I held her. I checked for signs that said no pets allowed before coming and didn't see any, I asked the security guard where the signs were, she replied "there isn't any. And our atm machine also hasn't come in." So how was I supposed to know my dog wasn't welcomed without signs? And why was I being treated as if I was in the wrong when they opened their doors they should of made sure to have all of their signs in place. And what does a late ATM machine shipped have to do with my dog???? The outlets in San Marcos TX are WONDERFUL,very helpful and most stores don't mind welbehaved pets. I'll be going there...
Read moreThis is an up and coming mall that has both REGULAR AND OUTLET stores. Just because a mall is an "OUTLET" mall doesn't mean that everything is inexpensive or that you will find a better deal. Have you never been to an outlet malls before? Most people don't know the difference between outlet and regular merchandise stores. Outlet stores typically are lower quality merchandise, with lower pricepoints and items are made specifically for an outlet store. You will find similar items in a specialty store, but the quality is different. Hence why you cannot return outlet merchandise to a regular price store.
Yes the mall needs more stores, but not sure if they're coming. They have opened 2 stores since their grand opening in 2017. They have closed 4 stores since their opening. No consistent food trucks on premises.
