Bald eagle days at the venue was really amazing!! So many beautiful animals!! For a person like me animals are very healing, so interacting with them was absolutely magnificent! I honestly did not like the fact that there was a hunting booth there. That really bothered me being an animal lover, those kinds of things break my heart. So I don't think they should have been there. Where people are there to celebrate animal life and preservation. NOT killing them. Also they shouldn't have balloons there! Several times balloons popped and you could see the birds, lynx, wolf and many other animals jump. That really aggravated me. If you're going to host majestic beautiful animals (any animals), please make it comfortable and safe for them. We have to remember these animals are away from their homes way out of their comfort zone to come be ambassadors to teach us about them, so these animals are sacrificing a lot. I think they should be treated with respect, dignity, safety, and comfort. With those balloons going off the way they kept going off and scaring them that definitely was not the case. But overall I think it was a really amazing experience! And I think we all need to think about treating all of the creatures and our Earth a lot better than we do! We need to love and respect ALL of our beautiful amazing planet and all of her inhabitants. Even insects, trees, plants and water have feelings and energies. Not the way you and I perceive it. Differently, but even still so. God has given us all of this beautiful creation to love...
Read moreWe went there for the craft fair on its last day. The place was still very busy and it seemed like alot of it was crammed in there making it hard for ppl to walk up and down the aisles. Then we noticed on the 2cd to last row they made 3 pretty good size spots for ppl to just sit and relax. Very great idea but if the rearranged things a bit better they could make the aisles a bit wider. You've got ppl with strollers, walkers, wheelchairs ect. Too congested made it hard to look at everything which hurts the seller in the long run! We missed out on many booths! But with all that said they had an amazing amount if awesome...
Read moreVisit a couple of times a year for craft show on the weekend following Thanksgiving and for bald eagle days. They manage to cram a lot of people and booths in every year and still able to walk around without feeling to claustrophobic, love the soft serve ice cream for a dollar. Also has two concession areas one at each end and several benches to stop for a rest. Have a child with special needs in a wheelchair and typically have no trouble parking or getting around, also have a double wide stroller for my other two kids that we push around with ease, sometimes...
