Not sure where all these great reviews are coming from, I was very disappointed. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and well kept. The Food however isn't the star here, I would call the style of cooking either Tex-Mex or Gringo-Mex. The burrito comes with meat only in a 10" flour tortilla and had some kind of white queso cheese sauce on top served more like an enchilada, the tacos have just lettuce, they do not make their own taco salsas, only bottled salsas at the table, The red salsa that comes with the chips is extremely...

My first experience at El patron was at a celebration of life for my beloved friend Mary Smock. It was a very hard day, but when we gathered here we all had a wonderful happy time. The wait staff could not have been more accommodating. The food was delicious! My second experience was meeting my beloved friends family for the first time since her. passing. Disgusting, this is the worse Mexican restaurant in America and especially the Quad Cities YUCK. I've been here twice in different years and at this point PLEASE CLOSE DOWN, YOUR FOOD IS LIKE MEXICAN DOG FOOD, YOUR SPOT IS ALWAYS EMPTY AND YET YOUR FRONT DESK GIRLS ALWAYS GET IT WRONG.
