ROZZ-TOX — Restaurant in Rock Island

Cool place to stop for a drink, a coffee, etc., Artsy dive for special people to gather for special occasions. There was a zine detailing events on the horizon through summer. A good place to stop, albeit briefly, for 4/20/24 - nice crowd there, they had N64 Smash Brothers on the projector, a little arts market, and some comedy (which I caught the tail end of). Marz CBD seltzer offerings a plus, food looked good but I had a PBR. Enjoyed hanging in the very chill next door courtyard - it looks like they have a drive thru/ side order widow but I didn't actually see it used. Played a couple games of chess there earlier in the day. Also, someone was DJing and it looked as though they had a nice DJ booth / set of turntables and mixer, in the front...

This is a hip place to grab a drink and a snack. There's live music that's interesting and enjoyable atmosphere. The staff are all pleasantly nice and helpful. I had a mama bossos pizza that came out tasty and hit the spot. There's such an array of choices for drinks, coffees, cocktails that you can't get anywhere else in town. This place is special and when you go there, you are made to feel you're special, too. I had a Korean energy drink, a specialty coke soda, and a Thai iced tea in a can. In was satisfied with my non alcoholic options and enjoyed my night throughly. I'd recommend this...

I immediately fell in love with this place walking in!

It's like if a dive bar, Asian restaurant, tea house, and music venue had an eclectic love child. Very progressive, and honestly, looks like a place you'd find in the movies. It's got so much character, charm, and personality it's almost difficult to figure out what about the place you like more.

Their open air patio is fantastic for well behaved pups, and their walk up window is just effing neat!

I'm not from the area, but I'll for sure be back when I pass through again! 10/10...
