Fantastic experience! After nearly two decades of a hiatus from collecting basketball cards or even opening up a card pack, my twin boys have grown to a mature 9 years old and have taken my former interest in basketball and the basketball card hobby as their own.

We were in the area (from yuba city) with time to spare and I had the idea to search for and go to a sports cards store (haven’t seen one in Yuba City in a LONG while). We pulled up to true sports cards not really expecting much (maybe some grumpy old guy behind the counter like most hobby or specialist-type small businesses), just hoping to possibly sift thru a binder or box of single cards and pick out a few. We were almost immediately pleasantly surprised making our way inside.

The owner and staff were extremely welcoming! Super clean, and super comfortable . We spent 3 hours in there. (I felt terrible, but my wife and daughters PATIENTLY waited in the car/inside the store for us to get done with our basketball card fix) TOO MANY cards to browse thru and no pressure to speed thru the cards nor any pressure to spend tons of money. Anthony who rung me up and helped me out was the absolute best and hooked up my kids with some packs of cards.

Love the shop great employees no complaints with you guys but with PSA I do I obtained a card back that I would have thrown in the garbage instead of getting it graded I literally would have thrown it in the garbage for $25 as a matter of fact I'm about to do that anyhow after it's been graded and I do not see true sports cards overlooking what I'm talking about either cuz I had an employee help me pick out the most choice cards of 20% off it's not your guys's fault or your employees or mine but I believe it was PSA I would have definitely thrown this card out in the garbage rather than spend the money to get a graded anyhow keep up the good work and I probably never will use PSA again considering it's a 1982 Nolan Ryan in really good condition except for where you could see someone dropped it and scraped it along the floor I would have thrown it in the garbage instead of get it graded anyhow thank you. Also I even have pictures of the card without the scratches just as well as true sports card does no scratches at all !!! Well you can say I learned my lesson never to use PSA and I'm going to spread this all over town!!!! But true sports cards is a great and professional card shop thank you. Also I would not suggest PSA grading company to anyone for any reason at all whatsoever I would keep your reputation good unlike PSA that's for damn sure !!!!!!
