This is my first bad review I have ever left for someone and to be honest, was really debating on whether I would do it or not. But after talking to a few people about my horrific experience, I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone.
Let me preface this by saying, as a person who is completely blind without his glasses, with barbers Iâm not used to, I occasionally pop on my glasses just to get a quick look at the cut as itâs happening and see if thereâs any changes or preferences I would like (shorter/longer off the top of sides). Granted, to a barber whoâs been cutting me a while and has earned my trust after 2 visits, I can understand how that would be frustrating. However, as someone whoâs only been cut by Ehab 3 times in maybe 4-5 years, I just wanted to take a look occasionally, ESPECIALLY since last time my beard was not done to my liking.
Anyways, as I was getting my cut, I popped on my glasses maybe 4-5 times, each time for less than 10 seconds, JUST TO SEE how the cut was going. I guess with me doing that, Ehab took such offense to that and started implying I donât trust him and even if he âmesses upâ what am I going to do about it. After some back and forth regarding that comment, he proceeded to run the blade over my beard twice in a nonchalant way and said âwhoops, I missed up, now what are you going to do about itâ.
In all fairness, he didnât actually mess up the beard but the fact that he was being so rude and disrespectful about it completely changed the atmosphere. And on top of the fact that I didnât have my glasses so I was unable to tell if he ACTUALLY messed up my beard, we got into another back and forth. Which then his other barbers started trying to get tough and intimidate me and getting in my face (very poorly might i add). Anyways, at this point I just wanted the cut to be over so I could have nothing to do with him anymore, but as he was beginning to use the blade on my neck, he started saying âoh youâre about to feel this sh**â and after that, I thought it was in both of our best interests to end the cut.
So long story short, this dude got his feelings hurt because I was looking at the cut occasionally with my glasses, which I would also like to add was always in the middle of him switching guards or trimmers, so not even like I was doing it mid cut.
If you canât control your emotions and want to be offended that I âdonât trust youâ, this is not the business for you buddy.
And my fellow blind people, stay away lol
Oh and covid protocols are terrible. Every client had...
Read moreEhab totally saved me and my husband last night! My husband desperately needed a cut because he had an interview this morning. He asked me to do it around 10pm, when I was exhausted from dealing with our children (and staying up late to watch Game of Thrones the night before!). When my husband handed me the clippers, I assumed the guard was on, and wasn't thinking. Turns out, there was no guard on it! So basically, I used the clippers on the highest setting and mowed a strip on the back of my husband's head! I tried to make it better by cutting hair short around it but I totally just made it worse! It was a HORRIBLE situation and my husband was seething with anger! In my desperation, I took to Google to see what barbershops open early (my husband's interview was at 10am). I came across Ehab's website and was glad to see that he is a mobile barber who comes to you! I called him and he texted me back right away. We started texting at 10:24pm. By 11:25pm, Ehab was at my house, barber chair and all! It was AMAZING and a MIRACLE. He dropped everything to help us in our time of need (he was actually watching Game of Thrones and stopped it to help us, so you know it was a sacrifice!). He assured me that he could easily fix my husband's hair and not only did he do that, he gave him an amazing cut with a great fade in the back (to cover up my mistake). Even my husband, who doesn't normally like fades, has to admit that it looks good on him. Ehab was also personable and wonderful to interact with. We will definitely use Ehab in the future before special occasions (we can't afford it all the time because of the aforementioned kids!). I'm not going to risk cutting anyone's hair again before a big event! Thanks, Ehab! You are...
Read moreMy sons had previously gone to this place n got a normal haircut. They went back to get the same cut as before and I can't explain how horrific it looks. It literally looks like the kids have given each other a haircut. One has a bold spot in the front and a long portion on the other side. It is soo short and so bad that when taken to a different haircuttery I was told it can't even be fixed đ«. He had a gorgeous head of hair ,went to this place and has come back unrecognizable. One of their teachers literally told one of my sons that she didn't recognize who he is until she heard his voice. It drastically changed their look and is the worst hair cut I've ever seen done by so called professional. The pics don't do it justice since I want to keep the kids anonymous, just do not take your kid to this place as they are inconsistent and seem to have a change of staff recently that gave this cut ,did nothing to remedy it and even charged for it To clarify, dad who took the kids has not had hair for over 20 years and is bald. Cut is too short to fix , this is exactly as it sits on the child regardless of how "styled" there isn't much to "style" Cut is bulky on one side and flat on one site for one of the kids. Much of the hair is extremely short so no fixing possible, top of the hair is not styled for comb over , it is inconsistent and roo short for that (that's what the kids had last time). I will not want the kids to receive any complimentary or any other cuts in this location, if by mistake dad brings them there again, please ask him for my permission as I do not consent to the kids getting yet another disastrous cut on a 6 year old who can not style his hair at all and now has to wait months before it can...
