I want to note that I’m going to list the pros and cons of my experience. I want to note that the customer service deserves a 5. Pros: the place was very accommodating, I was about 14 minutes late because I didn’t know where to park & was confused on the building and the nail tech walked me through it. They gave me coffee and chocolate and allowed me to take a work meeting in their lash room. They were all very kind.
Cons: I love for precession doing my nails. The appointment took about two hours and thirty minutes. The woman doing my nails informed me she was a jr tech vs senior (they possibly explain on their site, but I didn’t look before booking). The way she applied the hard gel was so tin that you could see my nail under it. I got a milky white and you could see the nude. That was from 11:15 to 1:28. My middle nail had broke and she had to apply a tip, the entire middle nail looks fat, thick, and not blended in. My thumbs are two different lengths and shapes. I asked if they could add polish over the nail because it was so thin and looked off because she did not apply enough. I got a milky white color and the two stylist added regular white to my nails. I was so over it, I just let them do regular white. That took another 20-30 minutes and many many layers of polish. I am truly disappointed with how my nails look. However, the tech will probably get better with time, she...
Read moreI wasn’t planning on leaving a review since I didn’t intend to return after my visit, but the fact that my nail chipped only two days after getting them done made me want to share my experience so others know what they’re getting into.
I usually go to Yuna (which I’ve had much better experiences with) but I decided to try this place since they seem to be the only place nearby that offers Russian manicure. That was a mistake. From the start, things went downhill. I arrived on time but had to wait before being seen and even after sitting at the tech’s station, she still wasn’t ready. The appointment ended up taking 3+ hours for a simple builder gel with no design. I understand the technician Elena is a junior tech, but 3 hours is far too long for a basic service. She also wasn’t very friendly —not that I expected small talk but even a simple greeting would have gone a long way. At the end, she applied oil to my hands and I was left to wipe it with a dry paper towel (at Yuna’s they wipe it off with warm hand towel).
TL;DR: got builder gel manicure, no design took 3 hours, done by unfriendly jr tech and it chipped after only 2 days. There are plenty of other nail salons, try those first before even thinking of...
Read moreI came here last March and had the best experience with Sofia. I came in today and did my pedicure with Tina— it was okay. She did clean my feet thoroughly but when it came down to putting the french, it did not look good. She could’ve suggested to just do a solid color if it was the shape of my nails but she insisted that it will still look good and next time, just don’t cut my nails and let them do it so it’s shaped better.
Then the worst part of my session happened. Elena did my nails and she was rough in so many ways. She cut 6 of my fingers— my cuticles are literally burning from her cutting the cuticles too rough. She was filing my nails to harsh that it was burning my skin. I literally said “ouch” many many times and she didn’t even flinch. All this was happening for 2.5 hours, for a gel manicure!! I wanted to add color to it but decided not to because I was already in so much pain and everytime she cleaned them with alcohol, my fingers were burning.
Such a bad experience. Will I come back? maybe. maybe not. But definitely not getting any services from the people...
