Classic Game Exchange — Attraction in Rohnert Park

First, thank you for choosing this strip as the location for your store. It is in the same strip as Sal's Pizzeria, so if I feel shameless, I can stroll on over after I shop here and fill my face with pizza!

So. I recently got a PlayStation again. Yes, the PSx, the big grey blocky thing that played Crash Bandicoot. I got a few games with it, and started looking online for some of the games I grew up with. I remembered popping into this store a few weeks ago, so I figured I'd go in and see if they had Gran Turismo.

They absolutely did! The atmosphere in this place is quite personal. You'll feel at ease coming in here. Ask questions, browse around, talk about the good ol' days of blowing on cartridges and timing the reset button on that NES because you know that it worked for you a few times.

They also are open to doing requests, as they frequently travel and buy games. Doesn't hurt to ask, especially if there is a game you've been wanting back in your life.

They also have a few consoles. I can't speak for the owner(s) but perhaps you could call and see about getting rid of that SNES or XBox that has been in a box in that one room...

I recently had a garage sale and was heavily depleting my collection of Nintendo Games/Consoles/Memorabilia. I sold most of it at a decent price to buyers at my sale, but wasn't able to purge it all. I went to Classic Game Exchange with some ideas of what I might get for my collection and was really surprised at the outcome. This is no GameStop or other chain Video Game Store. Love this store. Although they are a somewhat hole in the wall place that don't get a lot of games coming through every other day or every week since covid came from my experience. However,

I can say without a doubt. The they're always chill, friendly, and laid back. They know their stuff. Almost too well. They got pretty great reasonable prices. This place is maybe the only place I've seen games that are usually a few dollars less than every game store I've been to.
