If I could give negative stars I would. I would HIGHLY recommend buying your furniture at ANY OTHER store other than Ashley. Nothing is in stock, I waited over a month for the bed I bought, I then received a text from this sham of a company with 3 options for a delivery date. I selected the soonest date and was then told I would get another text 48 hrs prior to my delivery date with the 3 hr delivery window. Here we are the day before the scheduled delivery an no call, no text. I called customer service to get my 3hr time frame. I was then informed that the bed would not be delivered by the date promised, instead, I would have to wait another 3 days. By this time I have already rearranged my weekend and both my husband are missing out on work. Ashley customer service first hung up on me, then I called back absolutely livid at this point to be told my time I'm missing out on work is only worth an insulting $25 gift card. I said no to the gift card as I will NEVER shop at this store again. Besides, maybe my next order would be delivered on time but maybe not. I'm currently in their parking lot to PICK UP what was supposed to be delivered. They don't bother to tell you there is a 2hr wait time when they send you the text that your order is available for pick up. Moral of the story.....SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY BY SHOPPING ANYWHERE ELSE!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ASHLEY FURNITURE IS HORRENDOUS!!!!!! I WOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO WORK FOR A COMPANY LIKE THIS! NOTHING BUT A SCAM AND SHADY PEOPLE HERE!!!! To further edit this review when you call customer service all they can do is apologize. They will not offer you any sort of compensation for any time that you have missed out of work due to a delivery that doesn't show up. No departments can answer any questions because any question you have conveniently lies with another department you will spend your entire morning or afternoon bouncing from customer service rep to customer service rep. Nobody can keep anything straight at this company. Another poor gentleman that was picking up his order the same day I was was told he could only get the four chairs that came with his dining set and not the table. They told him the table was still on a semi trailer that had yet to be unpacked. this poor man had received a text message just like I had stating that his items were available and ready for pickup only come to find out half of his order was available. They told him to come back in another day or two and he might be able to get his table then. What a horrible way to run a company! I would be embarrassed to be an employee here and will never ever in a million years shop with this company ever again. I cannot urge and stress enough for other potential customers to save yourself the headache and the pain that comes along with shopping with Ashley furniture.    Read morePlaced an order online back in November of 2023. Replacement cushions for my couch. The agent over the phone says they'll ship directly to my house from their warehouse. Got 2 of the 3 cushions ordered. The 3rd is a chaise cushion and the phone agent says it's too big to ship to my house. Phone agent gives me a 4 digit ticket number to bring to the warehouse. OK. So I stopped in the warehouse. The clerk takes my ticket number and says that's wrong. The number starts with 3 numbers and then followed by a "B". I look up my emails and find the original receipt with a order number that has a "B" as the 4th digit in. I ask the clerk if that's it, she looks at it, squints, and says "yeah, I don't know". She's sitting at her computer that will allow her to look this up! And she does nothing! Calls the manager. Manager says she'll look for the order info. Finds it, tells the clerk she'll look in the warehouse. Then calls the clerk back and says she'll look later, when she has time! I'm literally standing in the building and the manager won't help. The clerk then says that there's rows of cushions in the warehouse and that Ashley Furniture DOES NOT tag online orders with receipts or clients names so the manager has to sort through all the rows of cushions, find the right color AND MEASURE THEM TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE THE RIGHT DIMENSIONS!...... Are you serious!? It's been 5 months, 6 phones calls to their customer service, one "re-order" of the product, and one trip to the warehouse, AND NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE CAN HELP! Ashley Furniture is a joke. Do your damn job. I paid you for a product and got nothing in return. Go somewhere else for your furniture needs. All Ashley will do is steal your money.
We've spoken twice already and you're trying to fix this issue. The problem now is that you called a 3rd time and I missed it. You responded to the BBB complaint I placed on you stating that you called me back but couldn't leave a voice mail due to customers voice mailbox not setup yet. Which is correct, I apologize I forgot to do that when I got my new phone. What bothers me is that you didn't say ANYTHING to the BBB complaint about how we've spoken twice prior to the missed called and your response to the BBB complaint was throwing me under the bus by stating you tried but I was unreasonable. How about you actually be honest and treat customers with respect? Maybe then you won't get any complaints, either here on Google or from the BBB. Either way, I still expect my issue to get resolved. I paid you for a product. I want my product or my refund! Only crooks take money from people and run! You claiming Ashley Furniture is a crook?

   Read moreI purchased a Hallstrung sofa and a love seat with Ashley Romeoville, IL on 7th December 2020 night.
I went home and measured my living area, realized that sofa would be too big for the space.
On 8th December, I went back in the evening and told them the issue. Sales person Dan said that I can cancel my order but have to pay 10% of the purchase as per the agreement. My bill was $3236, 10% is $323.60, itâs a huge amount for my cancellation.
I asked whether I can talk to manager, he said manager is on leave and he will message to manager about the situation, told he will call me back on next day, 9th December 2020. He gave me the office number and extension.
Dan never called me back. When I called the office number and entered the extension, nobody answered. I called 3 times, still nobody answered.
So again, I drove from Naperville to Romeoville on 10th December 2020. Dan was there, he told me wait, I waited for 15 minutes, he asked whatâs the issue as if he had forgotten me and my issue. I did remind him that he was suppose to call me on 9th December, but never got back. He said that he would talk to his manager and get back to me, went inside some room, he did bring Ricardo Villalobos with him and introduced him as his manager. Ricardo also told the same thing that if I cancel my order I had to pay 10% of the order, how much ever I asked him whether he can waive the amount, since itâs huge amount for me, also, I asked for cancellation immediately the very next day. He was stubborn and not in a position to listen to me.
I told Ricardo that Dan never called me on 9th December 2020, Ricardo said that Dan shouldnât have done that and he didnât train him to act in such a manner with customer. Ricardo gave me his visiting card, which said that his designation was sales person but not a sales manager.
Dan and Ricardo both made me a fool, took me on a ride. Ricardo is a sales person but not the manager, I was never allowed to meet their manager.
Since there is a fee in cancellation, I thought at least they would price match with another furniture store in Illinois, Ricardo denied and said that their profit margin will be 34% if they price matched, which is less than their expected 38%. And Ricardo kept on saying that he want to help me, but personally I felt this place is huge garbage and they treat their customers as trash.
Ashley store Romeoville, IL is not customer friendly and they trick people, beware of sales person and inhospitable behavior with customers.
