Garvey Paws Dog Park — Attraction in Rosemead

We stayed in the smaller dog section where there is enough room for my 7 lb girl to sniff and run around. People seem to clean up after themselves, it was one of the nicer small dog parks I've been to. Large dog section accessed by a separate gate, and the dogs on both sides can sniff each other through a common chain-link fence. Only downside is near that chain link fence there has been a hole dug, probably by another dog! Looking at the photo I posted, the area is circled in red. The hole is just big enough for a small dog to slip under and get into the larger dog section....

Garvey Paws is a relatively new and clean dog park featuring dedicated areas for both large and small dogs. It’s located directly next to the tennis courts and there’s plenty of free parking available.

I can only review the small dog area so with that being said.. the concept is cute but it is lacking a bit as far as being fun. It's basically just grass. There are a few benches and 2 covered tables which is nice. The inside water fountain didn't work when we went so my son went to the large dog side to refill our pups water bottle. It would be alot better if it had a ramp, tunnel, some type of obstacle course or agility pieces to keep the dogs...
