I understand that the stadium allows the schools to sell concessions. But Its pretty ridiculous not to allow people to bring atleast water. Some of the big stadiums with PROFESSIONALS will allow atleast an unopened water bottle. I was at the gate and of course I had my water container and the guy wouldn't let me enter. I seen several other individuals with water containers while at my car and assumed since I saw them it was ok. He says "Oh they must have snuck it in". I said "well someone should have caught that". He was also very rude. There was a sign on the fence about not having food or drink and I get that, but they need to look into atleast allowing a water container. It is hot in Texas and I just think that is a ridiculous rule. People have medical conditions etc and water is a need. I still ended up buying concession because I have children they always want something. So just for the future don't take a water bottle or container and there is no reentry after you leave out. Can't even go to your car. Schools make sure you put people at the doors who can handle the questions and concerns. The guy at the door looked overwhelmed like he couldn't handle the questions. Should have been 2 people. One to watch to make sure no one was bringing anything and the other to collect ticket info. LCISD YOU MAY WANT TO RETHINK THE WATER BOTTLE POLICY. ITS WAY TOO HOTT IN TEXAS. That's the least they could do. I DONT HAVE ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY EXCEPT THEY...
Read moreSo I was there attending a graduation. The concession had 2 lines open. One was cash only, and the other was cash and card. I was in the cash and card line. When I was almost to the front. I found out that my line was not accepting any cards. A teen stomped away, two persons ahead of me without buying anything. He had been there for at least 30 min or more. When it was my turn, I politely suggested to the lady that somebody should go out and let people in line know that you guys are not accepting credit cards. She responded by saying, "Be glad that we are here at all." I was not expecting that, lol. Fortunately, I kept my cool and didn't make her...
Read moreA very dilapidated stadium with wonderful dedicated players and family in a tax rich community. An extremely disrespected and aged sports complex with dangerous, even roped off areas antiquated metal bleachers. Shameful. I live in Huntsville, Texas, with definitely poor tax base, but we have a beautiful new Huntsville High School Stadium funded by supporting taxpayers and home to Sam Houston State University. Lamar Consolidated ISD. The kids deserve better. The generations of players and families...
