We come here for my son's volleyball tournaments. My first impression of this place, it's huge! Parking is not a problem but be ready to pay $10 plus the $15 fee at the gate to watch the games. It has good air conditioning which I like especially during the hot summer months. The restroom are also clean and well maintained. I subtracted 2 stars because of the fees and that one experience with the ticket/gate staff who said she cannot refund my tickets/wrist bands which I paid in cash. Refunding because my friend already got me tickets so I came back to the gate and the lady remembered me paying cash. I politely asked if she can refund since the way they record their wristband sales was just in a piece of paper/booklet with tally marks (weird for a huge venue like this, right), their apple pay was not working (it's not always working on 2 occasions I was there, coincidence?)... so honestly, she can easily just cross-out the quantities of tickets I bought and resell them... I end up standing there in front asking people who were paying cash to buy the unused wristbands from me. Good thing there were still nice people who bought the 3 wristbands but being out there in the sun, without shade whatsoever was what I hate most. Oh well...

Went here for Oath-taking ceremony 2/21/24 for "7am ceremony" It was long... the experienced was ruined by the system at the field when it supposed to be an amazing day. To get to the parking took 30 mins same when we get out with only 1 entrance and exit, for 900 cars?? No personnel present to assist the traffic on your way out after taking your $10 entrance fee. People are trying to hit each other's bumper, cutting turns just to exit the field. Btw, 900 took an Oath for citizenship. Then waited anhour in line to checked in. Then waited almost 2 hrs to get the ceremony started because they have to wait for all the 900 oath-takers to sit. So whether you arrived early or not ya'll will be finished all at the same time!!! Ceremony done at 10am. Yes! That's why drivers were acting crazy at the parking lot like a Zoo... But anyway, im glad it's all done! Hey, Americana here!😁

I've only been there as a Vendor to the Sac Anime Spring events the last 3 easter weekends (2025, 2024, 2023) and loved the grounds location every time!! Ample parking, spacious grass area for kids n adults alike, and the location staff have been communicative! I have heard that the convention does plan to move but I do hope to go to events at this location as a guest in the future given my positive views of it. (Most pictures by me are courtesy of being a vendor of Kobold's Keep NV and taken with all persons permissions)

The referees were great, and the property itself looked nice, but overall, the experience didn’t match the high cost or expectations.

The boys’ side of the tournament had a small turnout—just seven teams, four from two clubs—but the girls’ side was much larger. The building felt overcrowded, with full teams sitting on the floor, in hallways, and in walkways. It made it hard to move around and created a stressful environment. There was no clear system for where teams should go, which added to the chaos.

Parking was $15 a day, and the staff managing it weren’t helpful—mostly sitting around, not directing traffic or assisting guests. Coming into the venue was also hectic due to vendors set up near the front entrance, making it even harder to get inside smoothly.

The bathrooms were modern and clean in design, but often out of supplies like toilet paper and paper towels. Despite strict food policies (including security escorting families out for bringing snacks), trash was all over the place, which didn’t make sense and felt poorly managed.

We also had issues with communication from the event coordinator. Even with follow-up emails, we weren’t told how small the boys’ division would be until we arrived. When teams asked to condense the schedule to save part of their holiday weekend, the organizer made teams handle it themselves instead of stepping in to help.

For what we paid—for team registration, daily parking, and entrance fees—it just wasn’t worth it. The event needs better organization, clearer communication, and a more thoughtful approach to...

Nice facilities but they treat the families that come here like an atm. Pay for parking in their own parking lot and most expensive entry fee with no full weekend price. Their no outside food or drink policy is a big money grab telling people at the door they can only bring in food if they bought from their food trucks outside. On sat it was they were worried about spilling on their already filthy floors so you needed a cup from home with a lid and then the next day it was good as long as you bought it from them. No food either unless it's out their vending machine/food truck and they hired security just to enforce these rules. A lot of the people working here are very rude when they make up these rules too. To be the most expensive place, you are forced to sit in metal mini bleachers with no backs and the games are spaced out horribly 4-6 hours apart. I hate when my...
