Both my mother and I agreed; we don't like how the park is DIRECTLY behind the school grounds..with no gates or fencing either outlining the park, or separating the two from one another. And what even got us talking about it in the first place, was the fact that we were walking along the bendy and curvy pathway throughout the park, starting at the second parking lot which was where we had parked, (we considered this 2nd- or further lot, the "Park parking lot", seeing as how the first parking lot was right off of the fenced- "after school pickup area", for the kids and parents.. anyways, we were getting some excercise, using the sidewalk wrapping around and throughout the park- in the direction headed away from the school, because we weren't sure if school was in session that day or not..and we realized that the only path in the park LEADS TO, and then ABRUPTLY ENDS, DIRECTLY AT the school's "blacktop recess area" where we either had to turn around and walk back the way we came, or quickly & uncomfortably walk ALONG the grass/blacktop to get across the now pathless and fenceless part of the park & school, to reach the sidewalk in the first parking lot, which eventually led around the park and back to where we were parked, in the "Park parking lot." It seems like someone would be able to nab lil kids with relative ease, or even lose sight of a wandering student or young child! Something should be done about this, considering people take their dogs to that park without leashes, and stranger danger is always a very real and present danger also! I wouldn't risk my child's safety in that manner or to that degree, and would expect a much more secured playground location from a children's public school/park.. BEAUTIFUL park though, so gotta give a 2 star rating, instead of the bare minimum 1 star rating because safety needs to come first, ALWAYS! When it comes to our communities children, and families, we need to take NO risks and prioritize...

I love this park. It's beautiful and very family and pet friendly. The park is part of my twice daily walk/run regiment. I feel very safe when I am there alone. We have picnics there when the weather is nice. The picnic/barbeque area is clean, well kept and sports nice tables, a gazebo and clean restrooms. The playground area is really great and when our grandchildren are visiting we spend a lot of time here, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. During Soccer and Baseball season, kids will be practicing and playing matches and games here. The parking lot is ample and there is parking on the surrounding streets with a great many in the shade. This same shade is perfect for kicking back with a lawn chair and a book, visit or for spectators of...

I love this park! I was so excited to take my daughter. There are 2 playgrounds; one with a slide, and the other has a ton of climbing play sets! There is also a lot of trees, which means shade, a large covered picnic area with BBQs, extra tables near the playground, and a few additional benches. They also have a bathroom, complete with stalls and paper towels. The park is located in a beautiful Roseville neighborhood, and offers a large...

Pretty park with walking paths, horseshoe pits, volleyball net in sand, 2 baseball areas, basketball courts, large grass field where kids sometimes play soccer. Peaceful place to walk your dog on a leash. There is also a covered area with picnic tables, hibachi type bbq, food prep tables with sinks. Nice area for a family get-together (No alcohol). I less star for people who do not leash their dogs and homeless going through garbage cans (so sad)

Love the park, I walk it nearly every day. Recently Roseville has been running sprinklers through out. Doing sections at a time. My question is why are they watering during the late morning, early afternoon versus at night while the park is not being used? Plus watering at night is better for absorption. Stop watering during the day while the park is being used and water at night while the park is closed.
