I was told if you really want some good street tacos try Bar 101. I was like they don't sound like a street taco kinda place but I will give it a try. Not disappointed. The chicken and carnitas tacos are really good. I also enjoyed the other two offerings, fish taco and ground beef taco, but really like the other two much more. Decided I would also try the same two meats on the nachos and bam...awesome nachos. More toppings than chips but that is okay since I also had a fork to clean up the leftovers. On a seperate trip I came back because local Style Magazine did a best burgers around the area spread and Bar 101 was one of the features. Cool, time to try a burger. I devoured the Package burger...I am not going to say it was the absolute best burger ever but it was definately not the worst. It had plenty of good flavor and the burger was juicy even though it was cookeeda little more than what I asked for, however, that is not a deal breaker. The onion rings were pretty good as well. Service is always very attentive and come around often enough to keep your glass filled with your favorite beverage. If your beverage is beer they have plenty of offerings on tap and even more from cans. Lots of cocktails on hand as well. Wife had a Margarita each time and found them to be okay at best. I like coming here for the atmosphere and outdoor seating...will be back again.

I went for lunch here yesterday, my 3rd time eating at Bar 101 with friends. It was a Monday, and so very quiet in that area, many places for lunch were closed. Even so, our service and food was fantastic. My friends and I each ordered a salad for lunch: Taco, BBQ Chicken, and Club. They were walked out by the chef and looked as delicious as they tasted. I depend on honest reviews when I choose a place to eat, so I wanted to do the same and to give them the review they deserve. I don’t care for chain restaurants so this will now be my go-to place to eat when I go out with friends. I haven’t gone on a Friday or Saturday night when the bars in the area are all hopping, so I can’t speak to that, but the service during the day and the food has so far been excellent.

The Real Deal is Bar 101 Eats & Drinks which is well-rounded spot. The service is solid, no waiting around 5pm on a Saturday. The atmosphere is fun, full bar, inside and outside seating, TVs, taco Tuesdays, open mic nights. Now for the main event The Food, I went all in on the menu highlighted Carnitas Fries which were good, the carnitas were a little dry but overall solid 7 out 10, tried three tacos (fish 7/10, chicken 6/10, beef 5/10). The drinks and variety were great 9/10. I think this place gains the great reviews from the drinks and atmosphere.

Been here a couple times and it was a good standard to get a burger, fish and chips, bar grub... that type of stuff. They have a nice outdoor patio area and a large interior, with live music at certain times. It's a popular restaurant. Soooo, we dropped in on St. Patty's day for lunch. The entire old town area was buzzing with revelers, which is awesome. We were seated outside, and our server came by to get our orders. But, then we waited and waited and waited....For an hour and 15 mins.... We watched other tables get seated, order, eat, and leave... still there we sat. Server only came back once to tell us 'our' order was in... In where? another state? I went in to speak with the manager, and she simply indicated the kitchen was backed up due to the volume of people. Yes, it's crowded, but yes it is also a huge dining/bar day, that they should have prepared full staffing for. And, why are others being served paid and gone...? Not happy at all. The experience really changed how I feel Bar101 is being managed. Maybe we will come back on an 'off' day,...

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming and answered all by questions about the different burger options. Service was fast and accommodating and the atmosphere was great. My fiancé had two beers which were both flat, my hard cider was about half carbonated. The second beer my fiancé had seemed stale. We ordered calamari, the cowboy and hangover burger and everything came out nice and hot. Both burgers had a soaked bottom bun, they were made to the requested "rare side" and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The flavor of all the food was just okay. Despite being packed with very flavorful ingredients, they didn't pack a big punch of flavor. I am personally a huge pickle fan, but even when taking a bite of only pickle there was not a "pickled" flavor. i.e I like that tart...
