Read moreNice park, one of the better ones. Pool being gone is a sad sight as many of us (locals) around here have grown up swimming there. The pond is a plus though as it actually been upgraded over the last decade, much nicer than when I was a kid. Great place to relax and read a book or enjoy the scenery, many use it as a photo op/setting for pictures and photography of local wildlife as well as family. Could use some updates as far as the playground goes but our parks parks department has been lacking in that department in all our city's parks. And off to.the side they have 2 swings, 1 for babies and 1 for bigger kids! No sand sadly but the wood chips are ok! They do give splinters and tend to be hard but it's ok I guess for new ages if that's what they like! Only thing I find bad about it is the hondo is too close! So parents keep ur eyes peeled at this pay ground! Look away for even a second and u could find ur baby at the bottom of the hondo more than likely with a broken leg or arm but plenty of...
