I love the RAP! This is seriously one of my happy places. It's got two great playground areas, one for toddler ages that is fenced and has the "baby" seated swings. The other one is for bigger kids with tall exciting slides and swings and several different play areas. There are baseball, soccer and LAX fields and tennis courts as well as a public pool, and the Bill Johnson Activity Center with indoor basketball courts. There is also a Rec center for dance and gymnastics classes as well as an Art Center where various painting and pottery classes are taught. Best of all is a walking/running trail loop that winds through the park around a pond (where you can do catch & release fishing) that equals a 5K (if you do the out & back). A great place to hang with friends, walk your dog, have a picnic and all the...

We spent the 4th of July at this city park, and it was absolutely fantastic! The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. The football fields were especially impressive—top quality turf and plenty of space for both casual play and more serious games.

What stood out most was how safe and welcoming the entire environment felt. As a parent, that means a lot. Our kids had an amazing time, and it's now one of their favorite places to visit. From open green areas to shaded spots for picnics, this park has everything a family could ask for.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly spot to relax and play—especially during holidays like the...

Very nice park with tons of activities option. We went to check out the playground, it's a big playground with many different sections for certain age groups (the parking for playground is street parking style). Then we went to check out the pond to try fishing ( you can fish here but you have to release after), there were tons of turtles and some geese too. We enjoyed a little walk from the parking area to the pond but it is quite far from the playground area so we decided to drive to each of the destination. The pond is right across the recreation/aquatic center, and on the other side of the aquatic center is the playground. Looking forward to...

Edit: I added a picture of the colored trails. Our local park! Great shaded walking trails and playground. One playground area is fenced, with a woodchip surface and child sized picnic tables. There's a work out station near one of the parking areas. And paved/packed gravel walking trails. There are some hills, so not wheel chair accessable, but ok for a stroller with decent wheels. There's also a Little Library that my son and I like to visit. And several sporting fields and courts. It always has people so you don't feel like you're alone. Come check it out, especially if you have young kids.
