Exquisite Service and Unique Cocktails at The Vick: A Hidden Gem in Roswell
I recently had the pleasure of discovering The Vick in Roswell, and I must say, it truly is a hidden gem. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the amazing service and the delightful concoctions created by the brilliant owner and the talented manager.
First and foremost, the service at The Vick was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and attended to. The attentive and friendly nature of the team created a warm and inviting atmosphere that added to the overall dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the wings. The bourbon and Coca-Cola wings served at The Vick were simply outstanding. The brilliant owner's culinary skills were on full display as he presented a masterpiece of flavors. The wings were cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and tender, juicy meat. The combination of the rich bourbon glaze and the subtle sweetness from the Coca-Cola created a tantalizing taste sensation that left me craving for more. It was a true feast for the senses.
And then there were the cocktails. The manager at The Vick showcased his talent by creating a one-of-a-kind peanut butter martini that was nothing short of sublime. The smooth and creamy texture of the martini combined with the nutty richness of the peanut butter created a delightful balance of flavors. Each sip was a treat for my taste buds, leaving me wanting another glass. The creativity and expertise displayed by the manager in crafting this unique cocktail truly impressed me.
The Vick truly stands out as a hidden gem in Roswell. The combination of the outstanding service, the brilliant owner's delectable bourbon and Coca-Cola wings, and the manager's exceptional peanut butter martini make for an extraordinary dining experience. Whether you're seeking a cozy spot for a date night or simply looking to indulge in delicious food and inventive cocktails, The Vick is a must-visit destination. I can't wait to return and savor their culinary...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited The Vick Koffee & Kocktails on a Saturday morning around 9:30 (they open at 9am on Saturdays). There was only one table of customers besides us. We thought with these few customers our service time would be quick, but we were wrong⦠after placing the order, it took ~15 minutes for us to get our coffee, and another 10 minutes for the food to come. During a slow business volume morning if this was the serving time, we couldnāt imagine how long customers would have to wait to get their drinks and food on a busy day. This was the same situation we had experienced at the previous business at this location (Cafe Lucia). We were a little bit surprised now with a new business, this same long wait time for food issues somehow still persists.
The food tasted good and the portion sizes were reasonable. The only suggestion related to food is they really should use a bigger plate to put food on and not use the rectangular plates that could barely hold all the food on the plate (most places use this type/size of plate for appetizers or desserts and not entrees).
One of the other suggestions we can give is to NOT use tape directly on the napkin to wrap the silverwares. Because there is not really an easy or clean way to open it other than tear the napkin apart. They should either just not tape it and let it be loose, or use a little long piece of paper to wrap it like many restaurants use. This was a bad experience seeing the silverware wrapped in this way and having to tear the napkin to open. (If I remember correctly, they did put two napkins in one wrap - maybe they knew one would get torn and it would not be usable, so they gave two.)
While the employees we encountered were suuuuuper friendly, there was definitely room for improvements in the restaurant. Hope they will improve the above points to provide customers a better dining experience, so they can be a long lasting business at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a Roswell resident I like to support our local businesses. If I can give this place a ZERO rating, I would. This was actually my second time eating here. The first time was (about 8 months ago), I thought the food was fine, perhaps a little overpriced, but the service was truly lacking. I decided to give them a second chance since its within walking distance from my house. Not much has changed. The food continues to be average at best and quite overpriced. The bigger issue is the lack of service and the rude demeanor of the server and the manager. My bill was wrong and when I brought it up the server, the manager came out and flat out told me that the menu changed and it seemed that I was given an older menu. So I said, "well this is not my fault and you should honor the prices from the menu that your server gave me" . To my dismay, she continued to argue and even raised her voice. I was told that there was nothing they can do. I asked for the owner and I was told that she was not in. I have never been to a restaurant and spoken to in such a manner. Disgusting and embarrassing! This is one place where ZERO rating would be well deserved.
In response to your sarcastic reply, "Thank you for your business", I am sure you are. Instead of taking the time with an unapologetic response , you should take the time to train your staff. The way I was spoken to and treated will not be forgotten. Clearly it comes from the top. You have a lot of negative reviews especially when it comes to your service and unimpressive food. Obviously, you...
