The water park was amazing until a real life emergency happened. I was there with my children and friend on July 23rd when a small child around 3 or 4 was found face down in the water. The lady that found the child yelled for a lifeguard and all of the lifeguards seemed like they were stuck in shock. My friend and I are both in nursing school and we were able to act immediately as we are BLS/CPR certified. After the small child came to and the ambulance was on scene they still seemed lost as to what just happened. My friend that accompanied me went to speak with the manager over the lifeguards and she explained that this was their first “real emergency” and that they were in shock. Not one person said thank you for assisting. We appreciate the help or anything. This disappointed us horribly. We explained that re-education needs to happen and we were just met with a lot of excuses. If the water park continues to want an influx of customers they need to ensure that the staff is equipped to deal with “real life” emergencies. We could have at least been offered a free day or something to thank us. I would like to be contacted by a higher up official so that they know exactly the liabilities that could be incurred due to this mishap. Plus a exterminator needs to be called asap the bees and wasps...
Read moreFirst we got there a little before they opened and there was a long, long line to get in. We were there for a Birthday party and waited in line for almost 50 minutes!! It was ridiculous how slow they were and the party was half way over before we even made it in. They should of had a separate line for parties because it's not like we had to pay. The cabana was nice where the party was but once your time was up you had to find a spot elsewhere and it was packed with people. There were not enough tables, shade, or chairs. There are signs not to sit on grass but no one followed it because really, where else are you supposed to go? The lazy river is really small, 2 people max side by side for width so not so fun when you get rowdy kids trying to push your child out of the way. Also the whole thing is small and shallow. And it's expensive for a public pool. There is a snack bar but be prepared to stand in line another 30 to 40 minutes. The snow cones have zero flavor. The place was packed with people. Hard to 'swim' or play with so...
Read moreWent there on a Groupon. Luckily we arrived at the opening. An hour and a half later they closed the main area saying the water was cloudy and they didn't know when or if it would reopen today. The only part still open was the main pool, which was too deep for the small children.
The groupon had included a hot dog, bag of chips and a souvenir cup. They were all out of souvenir cups and instead gave us a large cup and said refills would be $1.00. Feel that we should have at least received 1 free refill since the regular cost of a souvenir cup is $4.00 and a large drink is only $2.50.
Definitely disappointed. Not sure if we will return here. After waiting another hour and a half, they still hadn't reopened the rest of the park and still were not sure if they would. In the future we will seek out another...
