GatSplat Indoor Paintball and Birthday Parties, Rowlett — Attraction in Rowlett

I've been a couple times for paintballing both when it was pretty busy and when it wasn't (at one point it was just us.) Cole and the other staff are very friendly and accommodating. You can tell they really want you to have a good time. The place is VERY kid friendly. There's lots of tables for birthday parties. You don't need to reserve or pay for a table and they do take walk-ins but you should definitely give a heads up/reservation if your a big enough group to need a table. You can bring your own food and drinks (different rules for alcohol like no hard liquor.)

The paint does wash off but you should probably wash your clothes the day of and not let it soak for awhile, especially if you had a lot of "paint" on it. My shirt has some remnants of the dye on it. Their rental protective equipment should be more than enough. They can be a little loose and the vest only covers the chest fyi. The paintball markers are definitely low impact and can have trouble splattering, especially on loose clothing. It's almost pointless shooting far away. That said, it can definitely still hurt when it does hit.

There's only one big room for paintball and it's shared with gel ball. So you'll end up taking turns and might take awhile if it's really busy and you just want to go with your party. Otherwise you're more than welcome to join the other groups if everyone is okay with it.

The place is great value for what you get. They even let you come back for free if you visit again within the next 2 weeks. You'd get 100 free paintballs. That only lasts maybe 2 rounds/15 min of play. So plan...

GatSplat is AMAZING!!! Buckle up…I give long reviews because I like to cover EVERYTHING!! First, the entire facility is clean, I mean, borderline immaculate! Next, the staff!! These young men were nothing short of PERFECTION! My daughter was the only girl at a birthday party for one of her favorite friends and they made sure she knew how to work everything, let her pick her gun and everything!! I’m cold natured in general and the guys saw me leave and come back in with my jacket and what did they do?? Turned the fans down a little so I wouldn’t be uncomfortable #AboveAndBeyond!!!!! There are 2 standout employees there and I HAVE to call them out by name! Ryan and Corbin!! These are some good kids! They look you in the eyes when they talk to you and shake your hand when meeting you! Ask for them if you plan on stopping by!! It’s fun and the staff there makes the entire experience AWESOME!!!! Lastly, my only complaint is that it’s cold in there lol! Once everything gets started, it’s not bad at all, BUT i would like to request some cool embroidered jackets for the Young Men up there (we had a whole conversation about this 😂)!! Wow, this place is a blast. You honestly won't go wrong bringing anyone here or just visiting by yourself. The have a great location and it's indoor so no worries about the weather.

The layout is awesome. It's a huge area and there is enough room to move around and really have a good time while getting some cardio in. They lay out the rooms very well, and there isn't a side that has a clear advantage. It's a very even playing field.

The staff is super friendly, and as a newcomer they were helpful in helping me get geared out and explaining the rules and stuff to me. I will definitely be coming by again in order to play a few more games and bringing all my friends.

The only downside is the cost. If you aren't prepared it can seem expensive. I recommend buying more paintballs than you think you will...
