Ty Cobb Museum — Attraction in Royston

The trip to this Museum was awesome. Even though the guide was not there at the time it was still a very interesting and fun visit. The receptionist went out of her way to make sure everything went well. It was a birthday gift for the Grandson, who is big baseball player and fan of baseball. He was amazed at the memorabilia items and how old they were. He really enjoyed the gift shop with all the items they have. This Museum may be small in size but it is large in memorabilia and thoughtful and caring personnel. Thanks for making this a great birthday gift. My family and I had an incredible experience here. Upon arrival, an employee lead us into the museum and she explained the bat exhibit at the entrance to us. Later I meet with another employee, Jeff McCall, and he was extremely polite and informative. Upon the conclusion of our tour, another employee told us about Cobb's grave site and we visited that before leaving the area. We got there at closing time on Saturday and Leah let us in! She played the video for us and even opened the gift shop! Thanks so much! The museum had many interesting pieces and told Cobb's history splendidly if briefly. I learned that Cobb was an early investor in Coca Cola and his heirs are still collecting dividends today!
