Far from home on a road trip. I’m celiac and eating out is scary. One mistake and the rest of the road trip is a nightmare. Even restaurants who claim gluten free normally have cross contamination issues.
This place is AMAZING! I’m pretty sure it was the owner we spoke to when we went in. I wasn’t sure if it would be safe, as it’s a small hole in the wall place, so we went in to ask. Turns out his dad is celiac, explained their precautions and, since it was only 4pm and slow, he said that was the best time to order if I was worried. We were the only ones there besides take out orders. They have both GF crust or GF cauliflower crust. They change their gloves, don’t cross contaminate their toppings and more to keep your pizza 100% GF.
The crust is 10 inches and thin. I ordered the most controversial pizza of all time. Ham, pineapple, white sauce (alfredo) with extra cheese. I have not had pizza from an actual pizza place for 8 years. I was in heaven. The. Best. Gluten. Free. Pizza. Of. All. Time. You would never know it’s GF. I’m so sad we have to go back to Montana without them, but there just wasn’t enough room in the rental car.
Hours later, I’m fine and looking forward to reheated pizza at the...
Read moreWe ordered take out for lunch. We had four orders on a ticket that was ordered online. I was using a gift certificate for my food and my coworkers were going to pay for their food. Somehow the hostess messed up the totaling of all the food and I was charged for someone else's food. When we asked if everything was corrected and all was taken cared of the hostess rudely said everything was fine. We called back to get everything remedied because I should not have had to pay for someone else's food as I had a gift certificate, the manager said that my money would get redunded. Well lo and behold my money did not get refunded and I still paid for food that I didn't even eat. I honestly think they said they refunded the money just so we'd get off the phone due to their busy Sunday lunch crowd. I have left over money on this gift certificate that I may not even use up because the thought of coming back makes me ill. If the hostesses cannot understand the online ordering perhaps they need additional training or get rid of it so that this restaurant runs...
Read morePlaced an online order on a Monday night at 6:50 and was told my order would be ready at 7:25. Went to the restaurant to pick up at 7:30 and joined a long line of people who were waiting on their to go order as well. The girl behind the counter told me it would be a few minutes without even checking the rack of already made pizza. After waiting for 25 minutes inside the restaurant I went back up to the counter to tell them to cancel the order because I didn’t even want it anymore, where a different person helped me and said “it’s been ready for a while” and proceeds to hand me cold pizza. No apology or anything. The lady who had been waiting long before me went up to the counter again after I got my pizza and hers was ready as well and had been for over 30 minutes. So many people working and not one person offered to check the status of my food or help me in general. This is my second horrible experience and I will not be back again. I thought the first was a fluke but clearly not. Will...
