Be Music — Attraction in Rutland City

We have been visiting VT for the month of December and were very excited to visit Be Music, as they seem to be the only local music store in the area. My fiancé and I are both music teachers and LOVE visiting local music stores when traveling. Upon our arrival, we said hi to the employee, said we were from out of town, that we love music, and are that we were going to look around. The employee very rudely stated “we’re not open for just looking” and seemed very irritated by our presence. To be completely honest I have always had a wonderful experience purchasing products from Be Music. Depending on the level of skill and knowledge of technical aspects of equipment I have always found instruments which have always been of great use and wonderful quality, in some cases a educational experience. The staff at Be Music is prompt and very friendly and they provide a decent selection of gear ranging from the before beginning novice to the highest level professional. After wanting to for 20 years I finally decided to learn to play guitar. I came to B music for my first one and had a great experience. The guy I worked with didn't make me feel intimidated at all even though I literally didn't know anything about guitars. I don't feel like he just tried to get me to spend a lot of money either. I ended up with what seems like a great balance of quality and affordability for a beginner.

Later I brought them a second hand guitar I got off the internet to get it set up. The did that for less than I expected and it greatly improved the playability of the guitar.
