I booked 2 costume characters (Mr. and Ms. Mouse) for my daughter's first bday.
Upon arrival of the 2 girls who will be dressed as the 2 characters, we spoke prior to them getting changed and we agreed that they will enter the room at 2:15pm. I was handed a CD that they will play throughout the performance which I gave to the DJ. Mr. Mouse came in prior to 2:15, my DJ was completely surprised that she came out so the DJ started playing the CD. The reason Mr Mouse came out earlier than expected is to tell me that Ms Mouse forgot to bring her gloves and was asking if I can provide a white or black gloves. At this point, I just said for both of them to come out because the music was already playing and that the kids already started swarming Mr Mouse. Mr Mouse should NOT HAVE ENTERED the room unless I said it was time which was at 2:15.
The 2 girls came very unprepared for their performance. Mr Mouse told the DJ to play Baby Shark which is part of their performance. Prior to that, Mr Mouse already told the kids that they will start dancing Baby Shark but on the cd she handed, Baby Shark was crossed off the list which means they DID NOT HAVE this song available to be played from their cd! Good thing the DJ connected his phone and played the song from youtube.
I specifically requested to play MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE song upon entry of the characters which the Howell confirmed by email (yes I have it in writing) will not be a problem. They came in with a different song that no one recognizes. I could've been told that that would not be possible. That way, I could have my DJ played it as well.

Read moreThe "Bubble Guppie" came out of the bathroom from her initial costume change at 3:23 and honestly put on the worst interactive show I have ever experienced and used a speaker so small and so low, all guests had to literally be quiet, just to hear the music. After she changed back into her street clothes, she zoomed through everything and started packing up to leave at 4:07. I stopped her and I let her know she should not be leaving until 4:23 and that a few were waiting for face painting. While still leaving, she told me the owner doesn't tell people that costume changes are included in the 1 hour. Even still, she had already changed back into her regular clothes and was leaving at 4:07, which was 16 minutes early. I explained that to her again and she told me she had to leave because she had another party to go to. I told her that I paid $295 for a whole hour and she still left. Also, she did not pose with the cake like the contract stated because she changed into costume FIRST, just to do the 3 songs and then dashed off to the bathroom to put her street clothes back on to do the rest. She also did not give the kids lollypops, like the contract state either. This was our first experience using this type of hosting since our daughter only turned 2, but it won't be the last...just never with...

After the initial performance, the performer changed into athletic gear (slides and shorts), which felt unprofessional for the setting. Additionally, the face painting she provided was below expectations—many of the designs seemed basic, and they didn’t meet the quality I had hoped for. Unfortunately, the performer did not complete the agreed-upon number of face paintings for the children, and there seemed to be a rush during the second part of the event.
She was focused on finalizing the bill with random guests, which created a sense of urgency, and as a result, she overlooked handing out the candy to the children, which was promised as part of the event. My husband, who was busy hosting, did not want to make a formal complaint, but I was hoping for a more seamless and professional experience, especially considering this was a special occasion.
Unfortunately, after speaking with the owner, no compensation was offered for the lack of fulfillment of the agreed services. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this service, as it seems to be inconsistent, and we did not receive the level of service...
