Taqueria Los Güeros — Restaurant in Saddle Brook

I'd like to give it 0 stars but that's not an option. Walking into the place it's a bit dirty and run down. Table aren't wiped off and there's rice on the chairs. Started with an order and when it was ready and it came out, I said this is not a half of a chicken (which was what I ordered) and the rude and lackluster personality waitress said "Yes it is" and I said "No it's only a thigh and leg, no breast no wing". Her only response was "Well that's all we have". So I take my "food" back to my table and begin to eat, what my girlfriend and I thought was going to be authentic Mexican food. The black beans they served up would've been tasteless but there was a little cheese on them and how someone can ruin rice?! I have no idea. The chicken was over seasoned with heavy handed salt and spices. The steak tacos were overpowered by the amount of pablano peppers that were used and the salsa for your food is so hot that it ruins your taste buds for anything else. I like hot but this was ridiculous. The only thing authentic in this place was possibly the chef and neither he nor the rude counter girl seemed happy to be there. This place has definitely seen the last of me. The only thing good there was the cold bottled water I had to drink in order to help me get rid of all the pain my mouth was feeling from the 10 pablano peppers they used for my 4 mini tacos. If you want decent tacos go to Chevys or just a quarter mile up the road is El Norte way better and they usually have a mariachi band there to...

Horrible Service!!!! I have visited this location in Saddlebrook many times and the food is good reason why I choose to come back. But after last night I’m really thinking twice if I will. I have mix reviews about the service and after reading the comments I see that I’m not the only one who’s had issues with one particular employee at this location. Hermani or Armani shouldn’t be working in the front taking care of your customers she is actually costing you money. She doesn’t know how to handle customers and or take care of customer concerns. Her facial expressions, hand gestures, her reaction to the situation that occur last night it’s what made me walk out of the restaurant with no food. On top of it all she started speaking Spanish to the employees in the back and she assumed I didn’t understand. But clearly yes there was a mistake made over the phone maybe it was on our end or it was just that she didn’t pay attention or couldn’t listen properly due to the music in the background it’s really loud how can you hear correctly while taking an order over the phone? Hermani should of handle the situation properly and made the customer happy. But instead she choose to be nasty and blandly disrespectful slamming the food and ripping the bags open clearly showing how upset she was, while the customer was standing in front of her. I normally don't enter bad reviews, but I tried to give the business a 2nd chance in trust next time would be better. Not in my case. I had placed an order months ago for a football gathering with friends and I selected the 30 tacos option. I had enter instructions note that out of the 30 counts tacos, I only wanted 10 chicken tacos plain and the rest would be ok of the selected choice it was advertise. I specifically enter these details on the order notes. I was disappointed when I received my order to find out ALL of the tacos were chicken. I was livid and since I ordered it from the 3rd party app, I requested a full refund. I was very disappointed and pissed. So now, I decided to give them another try. Yesterday, I ordered lunch at work, again used Uber eats to place my order. they had a promotion of buy 1 and get 1 free for the tacos. I selected meat Carnitas and Al Pastor as my selection. I received Carnitas and "Chicken"...wtf !! So needless to say , No doubt about it. I will not waste my time or money to an establishment who is incompetent getting the order the right way. This location is Saddle Brook, NJ.
