There's an old expression that says "the devil is in the details" ... this place is the living embodiment of that expression.
The property itself is nice overall, but the owners REALLY need to pay attention to the details.
The rugs in both the rooms and the public areas (basically everywhere) are filthy, there are visible soil tracks everywhere, and there's a constant smell of damp ... this is Arizona, there should be no damp anywhere.
The bath towels are RIDICULOUSLY small, I have 30 inch waist and I couldn't wrap the towels around my waist ... that's how small they are. They're also as rough as low grit sand paper, have these guys never heard of fabric softener?
The WIFI was abysmal, it was fine when it worked, but it kept logging you out every 2 minutes, so after a while, it was just easier (and faster) to stay on LTE.
The beds were comfortable enough, but (and I don't know how to explain this properly) felt old. The pillows may as well have not been there, the moment you placed your head on them, they completely deflated into nothing.
The breakfast room needs A LOT of attention, the tables are so low I think they came from an elementary school, and all of them are braced (badly) with folded paper napkins.
The staff is very friendly and as accommodating as they can be given the resources that they have to work with, the cleaning ladies are lovely and very friendly as well.
This was our 2nd trip to Arizona in as many years to visit family for the holidays, next year, we'll go back to staying at the Best Western on La Canada and Continental, where we stayed last year. It's more expensive, but it's VERY...

The location is great, it has some restaurants & a gas station within walking distance. It also has an indoor pool. Plus the room has a microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator, they are very old but worked well. Here's the bad, it's a dirty run down hotel, emphasis on dirty. The carpet throughout the hotel looks like it was bought second hand from a jiffy lube, shockingly dirty. The walls in our room looked like a couple people had a slurpie fight, it was covered in multicolor sticky goo. The tongue and groove flooring in the rooms are becoming raised and warped. The toilet ran continuously the entire time we were there. The pool has a broken and loose No Diving tile by the entrance of the hot tub. It is just a matter of time before someone slashes their foot on it. The door handle to the pool is so corroded that it's very difficult to get it open from either side. And finally at the Continental breakfast, they didn't have pancakes, the cheap thing everyone loves, wasn't available. If the owners are reading this, stop being cheap and get someone who professionally cleans carpets, then get the carpet tacked down, your maids need more hours to clean your rooms, don't ever be out of pancakes for breakfast, and the indoor pool is your unique feature you should treat it like it's the most important part of your hotel. It shouldn't have broken tiles, doors that are so rusty that it's...

The Vagabond Inn offer inviting California ranch style locations, ranging in size from 25 to 200 guestrooms. The success of this collaboration led to the launch of Vagabond Inn Corporation, which is now owned by Vista Investments. The franchising gives the Vagabond Inn brand the opportunity to expand more quickly and in more locations.[citation needed] In an effort to better meet the needs of the cost-conscious business traveler, Vagabond Inn introduced Vagabond Inn Executive. Although it offers the same value and hospitality of all the locations, the Executive locations also provides business travelers with...
