This is our second time eating here in the last few weeks. Last week we got really good service and everything was great but this week we had a different waitress and things were not that great. We ordered our food and then we noticed that people coming in after us were starting to get their food before us, and our order was fairly simple. We ordered wings, a Greek salad and two slices of pizza. I was attempting to ask the waitress about our food and one of her comments back to me was “well, we are busy.” And I was taken back because I wasn’t angry, I was just wondering what was going on. And she brought us a cookie I guess to make up for our order getting mixed up and the cookie was kind of hard and she tossed it down on the table once we made our decision between that and a chocolate chip. Her demeanor was almost as if she was irritated about work. Maybe she was irritated about something else, I really don’t have the answer to that, but she seemed annoyed, yet we were actually being very patient. I even told who I believe maybe one of the managers that our waitress needed to lose her attitude. I got to where I just stopped talking to the waitress because I didn’t want to be rude myself and I let my husband handle requesting of the boxes for our leftovers and taking care of the bill. At one point she told us they were working on our salad and we waited 10 minutes and then the other lady came and was explaining to us that she thinks they got a bunch of tickets at one time and she apologized. We believe there was a lot of miscommunications with our order. We were surprised that they didn’t comp our bill any but we didn’t ask for it either. There are some things in customer service that are customary and having a good attitude and apologizing if you are wrong are some of the things that you do in customer service. We would eat there again, but I do not care to have this person as my waitress. I want to be clear that I don’t believe that the restaurant has an issue, but I do believe that some of the customer service skills are lacking and should be addressed. I worked as a waitress for a very long time, and even when I had ugly customers, I still was good to them and did my job, but we were not ugly...

Overall Review: This was my second time to Two Girls both times for dinner. The "PROS" was that the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Both times the restaurant was somewhat crowded but not enough to spill over. The "CONS" has to be the food. On our second go around we ordered breadsticks and a medium pizza with various toppings to ensure a fair review. The breadsticks were priced about $5 for 8 and we're soft but the marinara dip did not have any flavor. Unfortunately this lack of flavor spilled into the pizza. We received our pizza and I deconstructed one slice to be able to taste each element. We ordered a pizza with pepperonis and veggies. Most of the veggies were not actually cooked with the pizza but "placed" on the top of the pizza which made it all fall off as soon as you tried to take a bite. The tomotoes you could tell were just sliced and put on top. For a medium pizza we received very little pepperoni which I found odd. The most upsetting was the pizza sauce. I would imagine as a pizza place the pizza sauce should be the "pièces de résistance" of the pizza and this should contain most of the flavor complimenting the toppings. It felt like I was eating Sysco Bulk Canned Pizza Sauce. We both tasted this alone to deconstruct it and you could tell there was no flavor to the sauce. Fortunately but unfortunately I believe this place has succombed to the taste of "Green Valley" catering to the taste of the majority of folks that live here. I really wish the pizza would have been better as I would have made this a regular but at this point, I do not see a return visit...
Read moreSo I have a bit of a pizza fetish, and have my favorites. When I travel I always ask the locals where to get the bes pizza and try it everywhere I go, from Chicago, Miami, New Orleans to Mission Beach... I recently picked up a magazine after watching a show on best pizza places around the United States. The magazine listed best pizza around the US and home rciepes. I decided to make it a mission to try pizza places out of the magazine when I was in the area. I was very disappointed to learn there were no pizza places listed in Tucson. Though there were 3 places listed in Phoenix and one listed in Green Valley. Green Valley? That was suprising to me that a small place in Green Valley could make a list of best places in the US. So last night we decided to drive out to Green Valley and try 2 Girls Pizza, it took a little longer than I expected to get there and we arrived ten minutes before they closed. We ordered our pizza to go since they were going to be closing, while waiting for our pizza the staff was very nice and personable. After we told them how we ended up there, they brough out the owner Donna and told her the story, she was incredibly friendly and was a delight to talk to, after learning how we felt about pizza and why we had come out, she invited us to stay and try the pizza fresh not after a long car ride home. The pizza was awesome! I had the white out pizza and my friend had a plain thin crust pepperoni, both were amazing... I will definatly make this trip again! Well deserved listing in the magazine of...
