So when we researched boat tours in the St Augustine area our priorities were value, nights of lights and ease of access. Some boat tours you have to buy in one place, drive to another place, pay for parking, then walk to a pier. It's kind of insane especially when you see it online on website then if you see the boat in their pictures on the boat themselves is a different website. Kinda crazy. We chose red boat because they presented online exactly what you get in person. That's integrity. We expected a boat tour with knowledgeable staff who know the history and maintain a safe atmosphere even with half a dozen very, very excited children on board. That is what we got. What we didn't expect was treats. It was a rather chilly night on the water, what better way to warm up then hot chocolate delivered to you with a smile? What better way to enjoy it than with a cookie? Both complementary mind you. Also the special holiday themed glasses giving lights a halo effect were a nice surprise. In most tourist destinations it can be hard to get what you pay for. Alot of attractions don't deliver the expectations that they advertise. Red boat was easy to work with online and by phone even with a 74% chance of rain the captain still had the boat ready in case our time slot had clear enough weather to go out and thankfully the weather held and we were able to go. The staff by phone were polite and courteous addressing weather concerns and we appreciated the email reminders that included directions to the pier. Parking is easy and freely available at the pier with a very short walk to the boat. Boat leaves on time which is very much appreciated. As reliable as a Japanese train. Red boat delivers. For the full 90 minutes. We got what we paid for and more. Highly recommended to learn more about the area, enjoy a nice cruise or for a birthday or anniversary.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a sunset sail with Red Boat Water Tours, and I must say it was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the highlight of the trip was spotting dolphins gracefully swimming alongside the boat. It was a breathtaking sight that added an extra touch of magic to the already beautiful sunset backdrop. The crew's knowledge and expertise in locating these magnificent creatures made the encounter even more memorable. Speaking of the crew, Captain Tony and his helper Dale, they were simply fantastic. Not only were they friendly and welcoming, but their professionalism and attentiveness were commendable. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone on board had a memorable experience. Their knowledge about the local area, wildlife, and history was impressive, and they willingly shared interesting tidbits and stories throughout the trip. The boat itself was well-maintained and comfortable, providing ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy the journey. The sunset sail created a serene and peaceful ambiance, allowing us to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. Overall, I highly recommend Red Boat Water Tours to anyone seeking a memorable and awe-inspiring experience. Whether it's the incredible dolphin sightings, the knowledgeable crew, or the breathtaking sunset views, this tour offers an unforgettable adventure. Don't miss the opportunity to embark on a journey with Red Boat Water Tours—it's an experience you won't regret.

I thought for sure this tour would be canceled because it threatened to storm all day. But the weather held out and it was a really beautiful boat tour. In addition, I thought we were in for a rough ride due to the water being a bit choppy, but it was not bad at all. I think because the boat had 3 pontoons, which helped stabilize the boat. There were two guys that were our guides. Both were friendly and had jokes, which made for a fun boat ride. I'm sure it's hard to make jokes when you can't see the faces of your audience. We were all facing forward. We saw dolphins within 10-15 minutes of taking off. We stayed with the pods of dolphins for about 15-20 minutes. Any longer would interrupt their hunting for food. I didn't get any pictures of the dolphins because I wanted to just watch. Also, they were pretty quick above the surface. We saw an osprey (bird) with a mullet (fish) in it's claws up close. We then boated around the inlet for the remainder of the tour. The tour guides provided information about some of the history of the monuments or buildings. We saw the draw Bridge open and close. At the end, we bought a t-shirt and coffee mug right there on the boat. I would do this tour again!

A Fantastic Red Boat Tour with Exceptional Guides

My recent experience aboard the Red Boat tour was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks in large part to the outstanding efforts of Captain David and Roy. From start to finish, they made our journey a memorable and enjoyable one.

From the moment we stepped aboard, Captain David's warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put us at ease. His extensive knowledge of the area and the boat itself reassured us that we were in capable hands. Throughout the tour, Captain David's commentary was both informative and engaging, providing us with fascinating insights into the history, culture, and natural beauty of the region. He made sure to answer all our questions and ensured that we felt comfortable and safe throughout the journey.

Roy, our tour guide, was equally exceptional. His enthusiasm and passion for the area were contagious, and it was evident that he genuinely cared about making our experience the best it could be. Roy's friendly nature and sense of humor added a delightful touch to the tour, and he went above and beyond to ensure that everyone on board had a fantastic time. His knowledge of the local wildlife and landmarks added a layer of depth to the tour that we truly appreciated.

Together, Captain David and Roy created an unforgettable experience for us. Their teamwork and dedication to their roles were evident, and they complemented each other perfectly. It's clear that they take pride in what they do and are committed to providing guests with a top-notch experience.

The tour itself was a breathtaking adventure through the stunning landscapes and waters of the region. We had the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife and learn about the rich history of the area, all while enjoying the comfort and safety of the Red Boat.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Red Boat tour enough, and I owe much of that recommendation to Captain David and Roy. Their exceptional kindness, knowledge, and passion for what they do transformed our trip into a truly wonderful and memorable experience. If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure with fantastic guides, look no further than the Red Boat tour with Captain David and Roy. You won't be...
