Not really a review of the store but Spectrum as a company. Overpriced junk service with horrible customer service. Was paying 300 a month for internet and cable that was junk. Outages and outdated service. Got I3 fiber now and Direct. No box for cable and unlimited cloud DVR and the interface makes spectrum look like 1980s tech. 50 bucks for I3 and 130 for Direct. So saving about 120 dollars a month. I3 speed test shows 600 down and 500 up on wifi. I was lucky to get 150 down and 20 up with spectrum which was supposed to be 300 Meg service. It was like 80 bucks for internet. I also canceled 5 days into the billing cycle and they charged me for an entire month and won't pro rate it. My wife filed a complaint with the BBB and Bow they want to talk. Holding your credit hostage for services not rendered is b.s and has to be illegal at some level. Also, add another $96.00 per month for 3 phone lines. My complaint is that I was in there today to return a defective phone- had it 4 months or so- they refused to take this junk back. I had bought their insurance. It is not their insurance as I was told.Turns out it is phony baloney insurance-- it is through a third party, and they wont replace their defective product. . You have to go home and get on the Internet and pay another $5.00 processing fee. Enough is enough I got a better deal with T Mobile and I replaced Charters slow Internet at my home, and I am switching 4 phones over all for $167.00 per month. Read moreHorrible service! I went in earlier and he wouldn’t exchange the modem for my elderly parents because I wasn’t an authorized user on the account. I left and came back later. Got the same rude guy. He didn’t ask me if I was on the account now. Took the modem and couldn’t find the same one I brought in earlier on the account. I told him this is the only modem they have and the spectrum guy dismantled it yesterday and gave it to me to bring to the store. The guy literally asked me if I was going to hit him. Great customer service. NOT! I said no but I am leaving with a modem tonight. He then couldn’t get the new modem to scan in and got flustered and said “ What the F - - -“. So unprofessional!!
