Baker Park's a nice, simple neighborhood school park. There's nothing extraordinary or special about it, and that's exactly what makes it special.
The park is well kept and cared for by the neighborhood and Saint Paul Parks. There are sitting benches by two fenced tennis courts, a picnic table next to a basketball half court, three softball fields, a playground for young kids, and a good short, steep sledding hill.
There aren't any amenities like built-in BBQ grills, picnic shelters, electrical access, or public restrooms. A portable toilet is provided during the summer softball and fall football seasons. It's regularly inspected, cleaned...
