Well, I can now say I’ve had the worst manicure in my life to date, including when I was in school to be a nail tech years ago and everyone was still untrained. My nails might actually look worse than when I arrived, so it’s almost funny. The polish was old and thick so she had to repaint half my fingers, the ones she didn’t repaint were still gummy hours later. The shape was wrong (she didn’t ask) and the lengths are uneven and shorter than I’d prefer. There was zero moisture (lotion or oil) used and the water-soak wasn’t even close to warm. And, just to add to my fun, she was decidedly unfriendly. I genuinely hope it was just a bad day and that things improve for her. The whole thing was a comical waste of time and money. But, I guess the property is pretty and the music wasn’t awful, so there’s that?
I can’t say I won’t be back because the location is convenient and I’ve had less awful experiences previously, though I’ll be sure to ask for a more professional technician. I reckon she may appreciate that because I got the distinct impression she didn’t like...
Read morePricing is not consistent, and prices “change” on who is ringing you up. When you ask about it, you’re spoken down to like “a stupid customer,” and charged $40 ($20 more for French? $20 more for gel? Onto if my gel manicure service?) more than usual for service. HAD Been coming here for years (haven’t recently, and had forgotten why until tonight- lying about price) and was told tonight I was never a customer there before? Reminded me on why I stopped coming here a year and half ago. Tried to give them another chance tonight in a pinch. Wouldn’t recommend unless you like being lied too. $140 for services when across the street is $98? Same polishes. Damn near same customer service.
It sucks because the actual techs who did my services were phenomenal tonight- but the women who rang me up was the condescending staff who couldn’t even keep her story straight with pricing. Very frustrating especially when I bring CASH to pay these...
