An employee made me feel really horrible in this store. I was shopping downstairs and picked out a necklace for my daughter’s graduation gift. I went to the card section (with the $16 necklace in hand) to choose a grad card to go with it. The person working ran (I’m not exaggerating on ran) over and told me she was going to hold the necklace for me instead of me holding it. The implication was that I was going to steal the necklace. It was rude and mortifying and I’d never steal. Meanwhile my friend had carried earrings around the store unbothered. I absolutely love, love, love this place!!! This place is a mix between mod, urban and eclectic. If you like super cute, unique cards you can buy single, this is the place. Anytime you need a cute, fun or even silly kind of gift for your best girl or bf, this is it! They have hand made jewelry made by locals, which is so great. The jewelry is so amazing that it's hard to pick just one thing. Kitchen items for all ages, and gifts for seriously every person in your life, including the little babes. This is my go to place for gifts, but I usually cannot get out of the store without buying several things for myself. I want all the things! Tonight I brought my aunt and cousin from our of town who needed to get gifts for various things. One stop shopping, they loved it! And the cashier at Snelling and Selby was so personable. We talked her ear off. Such a wonderful experience! And they gift wrapped their items for them. They were so impressed they went the extra mile to take the tags off, a detail often missed.
