Lida's Jungle — Attraction in Saint Petersburg

One of my favorite plant shops in the area JUST GOT BETTER (and bigger!) I am beyond thrilled for the new location and all the great things/visions this is going to offer the local plant community.

I didn’t stop for any plants specifically (one seldom ever needs a reason) and they had a lower inventory then normal from their huge weekend and opening — but I did come to check out the space and ended up getting about 7 small macrame holders that I use for my little orchid pots!

They have tons of pots — soil and plant care needs — some fun planty gifts and accessories — tons of large potted plants and some smaller starter size things and some nice baskets. They have a space for a future terrarium bar and all the supplies and I’m hoping for some future classes to teach how to do some plant parent things. The space is huge and has much potential!!

Lida’s jungle is located in a convenient spot in St. Petersburg Florida. There you can get any kind of plant from a small succulent to an orange tree! When I was there the warm attitude of the staff impressed me. One of their employees offers physical therapy as another career. When I was there, I saw his clients attending the inventory with smiles. They were strolling around the store, one in a wheelchair who didn’t speak much with his partner pushing, and their attitude was so positive about visiting and seeing the plants that I couldn’t help but stop and watch the way employees at Lida’s Jungle interacted with such care to this elderly couple. The whole place was shining in reflections of green and blue and if the rich choices of plants for sale was one reason they came, the other obvious reason was the community feeling that they have sparked in their business that...

First of all I highly recommend this store for two outstanding reasons! One the people who own this shop are very kind and friendly, they make you feel very welcome. The other is if you want healthy plants that are grown by people who truly love what they do, which is giving there plants lots of love, than this is the place to go. I have to leave today for a dealth in my life and a few days ago I needed something I had to be done over and it was a short thing to ask because I first told them to take there time and I will get it next week. But this happen and I ask them within almost a day if they could finish this for me since I am leaving today as we speak. They had no problem and the next morning I went in and it was done. It was done so well and what I wanted. And I knew it was done with love and care....
