Mill Pond Park — Attraction in Saline

This park has a great playscape and lots of open land. I bet the water is very prettt when its not a rushing flood water shoot. The park was very flooded the day we were there. We rented to the pavilions. The bathrooms were really gross and were not stocked with toilet paper or paper towels. We had to clean them and bring our own paper products. A lot of that was out of their control, which is why I only knocked off one star. I feel like they should have check these things the morning before a rental. On a side note we encountered a lot of rude and incosiderate park goers that day. They walked right through our party and grabbed things that werent theirs and kids rode scooters through the pavilion, whilst their parents watched... Thats not really the parks fault persay, but they should put up sinage that prohibits these things from happening when someone rents the pavilions, or make it free. Renting the paviolions is waste of money, I would reccomend you go...

We love coming to this dog park! Be aware- if you don't have good control of your dog off leash this is NOT the park for you. It's fenced on 3 sides and open to the river so they can swim, but they can get to the other side. My dog runs right back to the entrance to be let back in or swims back around the fence, so it's not a problem for us. I think that's the reason it's set so far back from the parking lot, so when dogs do get to the other side of the fence they're far enough from the children's play area that they don't go investigating. I think it's a great set up! Bring a towel and your own water, and expect a tired, wet, muddy dog by the end of...

We don't have a dog anymore, she passed away. But when we did she enjoyed the dog park. We came this time for our nieces and nephews. They love the huge fort. And plenty of swings. It's such a great place for a picnic. And plenty of grass areas and picnic tables. There is a nice walking path to ride bikes. There is also little ankle high stream the kids can play in. And a Huron River for fishing on the other side. A great picnic shelter, you must reserve it for party's. 2 - Tire swings, 3 slides, baby swings, wooden cars, and jungle gym.
