Curtiss Park — Attraction in Saline

The natural area is quite nice, big trees, lots of open space to run around. Otherwise the park looks like it's been abandoned for many years. The play equipment is old, dirty, falling apart, and not exactly safe. Tennis court also looks disheveled as do most of the other man made features. There is a farty odor in the air and I assume it's from the creek, which is also rather dirty with trash floating in it. Unfortunate to see as it appears as though it was a really nice place at some...

Nice newer playgrounds for the kids across the bridge. A few picnic tables and benches scattered around.

Tennis courts are grown over.

Baseball field up top is well maintained.

Trails are pretty well maintained and easy to follow, but don't align with the posted map (at least one additional, mowed trail exists between the two posted trails.)

Educational signs on trails are fully weathered and no longer legible.

Would still visit, nice park for dog...

'm an out-of-towner who wanted to get in some exercise, so I Googled parks near me. Thought this would be a nice one, so I drove there about 10 a.m. this morning to get in a brisk walk. No one was at the park except for two cars (parked in different lots) with people sleeping in them. Not a safe feeling so I left and went to Brecon Park, which is fairly close. Super cute neighborhood park with nice paved...
