City Limits Diner — Restaurant in Saline

Meh... I have been here a handful of times over the years with semi decent service/food, but this might have been my last. Not sure if management changed over the pandemic years or what..?... Every employee I encountered (3) seemed very unhappy, monotone, and short with me and every other table around me. Which is a stark contrast from other reviews. Also it was about 1PM and it was not packed or super busy, but I would say an average after lunch crowd about 1/3 full. Any time I heard someone ask for something the servers didn't say anything, no acknowledgment, and just walked away. When they would give the table something they requested for and the customer said something like "oh thanks so much" they barley got a "sure" , "you're welcome", or "no problem". Kids cheese burger came with a half of slice(if that) of Kraft single on it, didn't even cover 1/2 of the patty. Place seemed dirty, unkept, out dated, and honestly the overall unpleasant vibe of the employees really killed it for me. They all just seemed like they just got horrible news, hated their lives, or just wanted to walk out and quit that day. Not one smile, no "how you doing today" when we walked in, no "thanks for coming in", nothing. Just monotone robots doing the motion. stephanie was rude rude rude. We frequently visit for lunch for the convenience. i gave her my order over the phone. when i arrived realized my bill was way too high for what i ordered. according to the menu. after i picked up my order and it was fixed (incorrectly), she proceeded to go to another server and proceeded to insult me and cuss at me, let alone the owner, Tony just stood by and said nothing and laughed. NEVER AGAIN will this place get my business. mind you i was in there at least once a week for lunch if not more.

This place should be shut down. No heat was on, no hot water in restroom and the food was atrocious. Ordered Gyro sandwich, dried out chunks of what was supposed to be Gyro meat. Loaded with lettuce to camouflage the meat, terrible. Would not have fed that to a stray dog, when I questioned the OWNER, she was argumentative about removing this from my bill. I sent the whole order back, and in the end she gave me $10.00 off, which is still not the full price. Would not and will not recommend ever.
