Garcia Event Centers - Callaghan Office — Attraction in San Antonio

We rented the Marquis Ballroom for my daughters Quince. During the course of planning the event the staff was very communicative. From emailing and calling to set up appointments needed. The women who helped us with choosing the decor was amazing! Unfortunately I do not recall her name. She was so informative and gave us options and her suggestions helped so much. The women who assisted with the finally preparations was also so helpful. We turned in our thumb drive for my daughters Power Point for the tech to make sure it would work found it did not work but the tech was able to figure it out prior to the day of our event! The day of our event we were able to set up easy no problem. The decorations and hall was beautiful our guest were so impressed and gave many compliments! The food we choose were the Enchilads and they were pretty tasty. We had a few hiccups the hall was pretty hot. The DJ had a hiccup also when the breaker popped during his time. He has a pretty big setup but has been at this venue before never had that happen. So we were out of music for about 15-20 minutes. The coordinator for the night didn't seem happy to be there. I had to go up to her and ask her if she was my coordinator. Also, guest were not informed we had pizza for the kids. I was informed I had a few plates which was good. Although the following Monday, I had to return to the hall, I noticed i had 2 full pizzas that were left behind and was not informed we had any left. Overall we had an amazing time! And have recommended this venue to others. We are 3 time returning...

We celebrated my daughter’s sweet 16 in Unique Ballroom and had the BEST time!! The event coordinators were awesome, decorations were beautiful , lighting was so pretty and the venue was clean and organized. The security guards and concession attendants were very helpful and accommodating as well. I would recommend the food crew to pick up your empty plate during dinner. They only picked up the charge plates but didn’t pick up plates when guest were done eating. The DJ we were assigned too was DJ AnthonyVSA and was amazing, he had our guest on the dance floor all night long! His Photo Booth was amazing as well. The picture quality/design is as so pretty! He reached out day after to thank us for allowing him to be DJ at our event! Highly recommend his services. We were allowed to use outside vendors for backdrop, marquee letters, and things of that nature. We were not made to feel like we had to go through them for all those things. We used Angels Thrones & More for the marquee letters. The clouds and cold sparks was through the DJ.Jasmine had great communication skills, always kept me in the loop. She would call to check in, she showed up to event just to make sure everything was as we expected! She called the next business day to ask how everything went! We had my daughter's sweet 16th on February 1st and the service by them was excellent! They office staff were available to answer all questions and concerns. The security guards were friendly and followed our instructions about asking for the invitations. The decorations were beautiful, the staff for the decorations were patient and very helpful during the planning. We had the chicken Alfredo with Cesar salad and it was delicious! The catering staff were polite, answered questions before and during the event, and were prompt when serving. The package we had offered the DJ with the photo booth. We had DJ Eddie and he was by far very good. He was always available to answer questions, he graciously answered my texts, took our list of songs and played them, and the photo booth was so much fun for the guests. The guests were able to have the photos sent to their phone. After the event, he sent all the photos taken to us. My daughter had a wonderful time and my family and friends could not stop talking about how beautiful and how smoothly everything ran. We were so glad we chose a venue that offered most everything, this made planning so much easier and...
