Gold Canyon Park — Attraction in San Antonio

Nice to have some respite in suburbia, even if it's a narrow slice of greenbelt trapped between high powerline towers and housing developments. And down along the creek bed, it traverses over storm and sewer drainage lines... As usual we, John Q. Would have been a 5 except one end of the loop is a steep grade and is not paved, rather it is covered with a nice cushion layer of mulch. There is only one loop, approximately 0.7mi with the unpaved portion being just over 0.1mi. Fair shade throughout with enough elevation change to become a challenge after a few laps in either direction...
