neat little place, but the young gentleman with the glasses will hover over you within 10 feet & can’t really enjoy the museum in peace.
they lack social intelligence unable to recognize that we kinda wanted to be by ourselves & talk amongst ourselves when the “tour guide” interjected in our conversation unprompted. i get you have to guard the place but be like a good 15-20ft away like a normal person.
sure keep us in line of sight but don’t annoyingly hover (within 10ft) waiting for your chance to interject in a conversation unprompted when clearly we’re trying to get away from you to enjoy the museum in peace.
the older gentleman with the cane was very nice & cordial in the second building but that’s about it.
warning for couples: if you walk in with your partner that’s a woman, he will only look at the guy (me) while talking & not evenly addressing us both. so on purpose i had to look away so he can address my partner equally. very rude & unacceptable.

Read moreMain issue at this museum is the docent. The man covered in turquoise. From the moment we entered the museum he was standing very close to us. He immediately walked up to my kids and offered them necklaces. They were spooked. And yet he still tried to put the necklace on them. My wife and kids. He shadowed every step. Never for a moment allowing us to check out the museum in peace. There is no reason or justification for this type of behavior. The kids , wife and I were uncomfortable. And while he does have some military memorabilia. Some of the stuff in there has absolutely nothing to do the military. Why does he have a marksman Repeating BB pistol behind the display glass? Why does he have completely fictions made up weapons that seems like a child made? It feels like less of museum and more of an old antique store. Just a bunch of stuff randomly placed with an old creepy man who follows...
