This museum is one of the best military museums that I have visited! The curators are veterans and you can tell that they have a deep respect for the military, this country and their fellow veterans. As A disabled veteran respect and appreciate them as well. the Inland Empire Military museum was well thought out, clean and covered all aspects of the military. Im an avid reader and have traveled extensively and the docent told me about a lot of military people that I did not know about. For example he told me how the Buffalo soldiers got their names. He shocked me when he told me about Cathay Williams the first black female to join the military! The display were great and much to my surprise my 6 year old niece enjoyed our visit.

Five out of five they interact with you there tell your stories about the planes and what models they are and when they were used and with the swords, actual veterans work here these old men love kid they love to guide the kids around and just talk to them what a blessing is just being around you guys Thank you for your service.

I understand the comments about someone following you around but if you like facts and details about a museum, you kind of just appreciate the military knowledge and get over it. Lol The guy who worked there, Ezra, was a very knowledge young dude. But yes, maybe some space alone to wonder would be nice.

neat little place, but the young gentleman with the glasses will hover over you within 10 feet & can’t really enjoy the museum in peace.

they lack social intelligence unable to recognize that we kinda wanted to be by ourselves & talk amongst ourselves when the “tour guide” interjected in our conversation unprompted. i get you have to guard the place but be like a good 15-20ft away like a normal person.

sure keep us in line of sight but don’t annoyingly hover (within 10ft) waiting for your chance to interject in a conversation unprompted when clearly we’re trying to get away from you to enjoy the museum in peace.

the older gentleman with the cane was very nice & cordial in the second building but that’s about it.

warning for couples: if you walk in with your partner that’s a woman, he will only look at the guy (me) while talking & not evenly addressing us both. so on purpose i had to look away so he can address my partner equally. very rude & unacceptable.

i wouldn’t recommend going here, i been to other museums before & they never...

The Inland Empire Military Museum, located in the foothill community of San Bernardino,California is hidden gem for current and former military personel, historians, students, familys, patriots and everyone interested in learning about US military history ! They have a terrific, well curated and organized collection of historical vintage military uniforms, memoribilia, publications, weapons, footwear and military tools and hardware. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and welcomes everyone to visit this excellent military museum! The museum is proudly sponsored by Mr.Albert Okura owner of the well known "Juan Pollo Rotisserie Chicken" restaurants and best of all there is no entrance fee and free parking ! A great experience to see! . . . . . #inlandempiremilitarymuseum #juanpollo #military #militaryhistory #albertokura #seetheusa #usa #usa1 #photografxworldwide #waynesalvatti #godisgood #army #airforce #marines #navy #coastgaurd #ww1 #ww2 #korea #vietnam #pearlharbour #war #museums #sanbernardino #ilovetheusa #rotisseriechicken #family...

Main issue at this museum is the docent. The man covered in turquoise. From the moment we entered the museum he was standing very close to us. He immediately walked up to my kids and offered them necklaces. They were spooked. And yet he still tried to put the necklace on them. My wife and kids. He shadowed every step. Never for a moment allowing us to check out the museum in peace. There is no reason or justification for this type of behavior. The kids , wife and I were uncomfortable. And while he does have some military memorabilia. Some of the stuff in there has absolutely nothing to do the military. Why does he have a marksman Repeating BB pistol behind the display glass? Why does he have completely fictions made up weapons that seems like a child made? It feels like less of museum and more of an old antique store. Just a bunch of stuff randomly placed with an old creepy man who follows...
