Itās named after this super conservative former Chicano grant writing professor from The local state college but heās not quite decolonized and invited me to a super Christian posada for Xmas. I was talking about queer futurity from studying with Nao Bustamante and Jose Esteban Munoz, and letās just say the discourse outraged āthe conservativeā founder and his wife running me out of town. The staff is very attentive and the director of the center very kind and supportive. They have a beautiful garden and a spacious place where they hold events.
